Very quiet but fenced so if you don't book a safari, you get bored. In addition, you have to pay exorbitant taxes to access the park, so the hotel!

A lovely stay at the charming Sarova Shaba game loge. Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Great view of the river running alongside . Staff amazing . Stephen the chef on hand at all times and plenty of vegan options for my son beyond our expectations. The food was delicious. Staff all very friendly, kind and attentive. Mercyline took very good care of us. Also Moses & bar staff ( sorry we did not get your names). There was a lovely relaxing ambiance at the lodge when we were not game driving. Our stay was made exceptional by our lovely game guide DENNIS. He was extremely knowledgable about all the animals, flora and fauna in the parks, and ensured to show us the beauty of both Buffalo springs and Shaba. Dennis was dedicated and determined to find us all the animals (including cheetah, leopards, baby elephants etc), and we felt very safe with his excellent driving skills. Thank you Dennis.

The experience was wonderful, my family really enjoyed the food. Mostly the out pool dinner experience was fantastic. we in particular loved chief Robert's personalized service. This is a place i will surely take my family again. The long drive is surely something you want to experience with your family.

This camp was beautiful! All around in the Shaba Park it is very dry but in the camp there is water running all around from the natural springs into the river. It is very green and beautiful, lots of water dragons, lizards, fish, birds, butterflies, small monkeys etc. The room we stayed in was just a standard room and it was very nice! Has a safe, bathroom, mosquito nets, bottled water each day etc. There is a pool that it heated and is very nice, they have equipment (you need to ask for) to play games in the pool. The dinning room is upstairs, where you have a great view. All meals are buffet and all the food was absolutely delicious. I have a dairy intolerance and Chef Stephen was there for every meal to show me what I could and couldn't have (there was lots I could so lots of options) he even made special soups and desserts for me. Everyone at the camp, especially all of the restaurant staff (Chef Stephen, Kevin & Moses). All long the camp you can look down onto the Ewaso Ng'iro River where you can see Crocodiles and bird life.

We had a wonderful two nights at the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. The wildlife around the lodge was amazing and everyone who worked there was extremely friendly and accommodating. My husband loves birds and loved walking the property birdwatching. One of the restaurant employees, Kevin, noticed this and invited him out one afternoon for a birdwatching walk during his break. Kevin went above and beyond and it was the highlight of our stay there. The fish foot therapy was something fun to try and the location is a short drive from the parks to see the best wildlife. Would highly recommend a stay here to others - we would definitely go back if we have the opportunity.

The staff were excellent, friendly, quite helpful whenever we needed their assistance. The services were great, the fish foot therapy was really relaxing. The food, prepared by the amiable chefs Omondi and Robert, was really good.

Our stay at Shaba was great. The food was truly amazing. Chef Raphael and the entire staff, from our waiter to the kitchen crew, was attentive and professional, making for a truly memorable experience.
