Booked in a day late and they gave Us wrong room. Next day they let us have a villa and was amazing! Still waiting to here back from them about my rings.

Lovely spot and a spacious room! We really enjoyed the views, hot tub and location. Madeleine, Jurgen and Rob were the absolute best! Wish there were a local pub nearby where we could properly hang out with them.

Very pleasant stay, with a comfortable room offering spectacular views. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food served in the restaurant in the evening is very well prepared and delicious. The pool area could do with being modernised as it's looking tired, but overall, the pool and hot tub add another experience to your stay at this hotel. It's worth looking up the background of the building as an added interest into the history of the Kentallen Railway Station.

Lodge was beautifully situated on the Lochside but in need of major TLC - scuffed paintwork, scruffy and attention to detail lacking: example, instruction manual for the washing machine was for a different model entirely… Hot tub didn’t work properly and wasn’t fully operational for two days. Bathroom especially dismal. Staff were fabulous though. I wrote to the proprietor but received no reply… do they care?

We booked this hotel at short notice, having been let down by another establishment. We found it to be clean and comfortable, with a friendly welcome. The swimming pool was the perfect temperature, the room was spotlessly clean with a great view. Our server Madeleine in the restaurant was an absolute superstar. Super-friendly and great fun, she is a true asset to the hotel. We would love to return!

Firstly, this hotel is in a stunning location, beautiful views and perfectly located to tour Glencoe and the surrounding area. The rest is not so great… we stayed in room 21 which was clean but tired. The bed was incredibly hard which is ok overnight but after 4 nights it took its toll. In fairness I don’t think the room is used very often, the ceilings were so low you could not sit up in bed and the tv was positioned so you couldn’t watch it easily. One chair in the room had no foam in the seat and so turned into a kind of comedy chair ! The view however was beautiful - well it was out of the bedroom but the bathroom view was a little more disturbing. The problem was the bathroom faced another bathroom and although it had a blind you could see straight into the bathroom opposite. Privacy was a huge issue which we flagged on day one with the hotel requesting that the guests in that room drew their blinds however no action was taken and so let’s just say we saw more of them than we would have led too. We are in the restaurant on two occasions the first was ok although I felt £31.95 for a sirloin steak was a bit OTT. Due to my dietary restrictions I asked for just the steak and 2 fried eggs and was told I could have it once but not to ask again. The second night I did request the same and the eggs were declined because the chef was too busy, so I simply had steak on its own. For this reason we didn’t eat there again. Breakfast was good but served in stone cold plates and the coffee was so strong you could stand your spoon up in it . On one morning work was being done in the kitchen so sandwiches were provided which being gluten free did not suit us but the hotel refunded the cost of the breakfast back to our room which was fair enough. All in all personally I would not stay here again.

Visited last night and was really looking forward to some nice seafood and a decent steak . The scallops were expensive and when they arrived there were 4 tiny scallops around the size of a 10 pence coin , with a tiny salad . I was hoping the steak at £31 would make up for the poor starter . Sadly it was very small and thin and extremely poor quality , very chewy and sinewy . For the price it was a very poor piece of meat . We mentioned to the waiter as he did ask how our meal was . They didn’t offer any discount . I wouldn’t return , there are plenty other places that are far better . Left feeling very disappointed .
