Review of Wanda Vista Hotel. My stay at the Wanda Vista Hotel had its positives, but also quite a few frustrating issues. The hotel itself was nice, and the room was comfortable, but the location wasn’t ideal since it’s right on a highway, making it less convenient for exploring the area. Aside from that, it was okay, but there were several maintenance problems that definitely affected my experience.The biggest issue was that the room had several things broken, and despite bringing it to the staff’s attention, nothing was really fixed except for the door. The shower leaked all over the floor by the sink, which was both annoying and a safety hazard, but no one bothered to fix it. The skirting board was also broken, adding to the feeling that the room wasn’t being properly maintained. On top of that, we had an apartment with a kitchen, but the hotel refused to provide any kitchen accessories unless we were staying for more than 10 days, which seemed like a ridiculous rule. It didn’t make sense to have a kitchen that we couldn’t actually use. After complaining, I eventually got the accessories, but it was frustrating that I even had to go through that process in the first place.Overall, while the hotel had potential, the lack of proper maintenance and the odd policies made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. If they paid more attention to fixing issues and improving customer service, it could be a much better experience.

Everything about rixos tersane hotel is just exceptional. The staff is so polite helpful and welcoming. They made our stay exceptional staying at the hotel was just like a dream. We love how they arranged work shop for the kids for the whole day. i really can not describe how much we loved every minute of our stay in the hotel and how we loved the everyone in the staff espically Mr.Volkan who was really helpful with our stay if we decide to stay again in the hotel it is beacuse of Mr.Volkan, he’s so welcoming thoughtful and kind person thank you very much for your service. And thank you to the lovely amazing wonderful Ms. Kayan and Ms. Shayma thank you for being so kind and wonderful with our baby and the recommendation for kids activities. The property is beautiful and the service was impeccable. Appreciated their focus on safety and comfort. restaurants were terrific and offered different experiences. Spa facilities are exceptional with great service. Definitely recommend the hotel 2000%

One of the staff members was unfriendly and unhelpful. On our first day, we had to wait about 10 minutes at the check-in desk, even though three employees were present. The person who eventually assisted us didn’t even greet us—I said hello, and he simply asked for our passports. Later, this same staff member refused to call a taxi for us. Fortunately, another staff member was kind enough to help and called a taxi. If you’re traveling with elderly people who can’t walk far and need a taxi directly in front of the hotel, I’d recommend avoiding this place. The streets are very narrow and often crowded, so taxis are reluctant to come. It’s especially frustrating when the hotel staff doesn’t assist with calling one.

My stay at The Divan Istanbul left me with mixed feelings. While the hotel markets itself as a five-star establishment, my experience suggested it might be better aligned with four-star standards. The service, which is a critical aspect of any top-tier hotel experience, unfortunately fell short of expectations. Upon arrival, I encountered a passive-aggressive attitude from the reception staff that was off-putting. Instead of the warm welcome one would expect, the receptionists seemed more interested in talking over guests than engaging with them. This tone created an uncomfortable atmosphere that lingered throughout my stay. Additionally, the staff's grasp of English varied significantly, leading to frequent misunderstandings when addressing simple requests. This lack of clear communication is not what one hopes for at a hotel that purports to offer five-star service. These service issues overshadowed any of the hotel’s potential strengths. A true five-star experience is defined by top-notch service that complements the hotel's physical attributes, and in this case, it was lacking. While the hotel may offer nice amenities and a polished appearance, without exceptional service to match, it cannot truly claim to be a five-star venue. In conclusion, while The Divan Istanbul has the framework of a high-end hotel, its service shortcomings prevent it from fully realizing that potential. For those looking for a reliable four-star experience in Istanbul, it may fit the bill, but if exemplary service is a priority for your stay, it may be wise to consider other options.

The hotel's location is difficult to find as it is inside the streets (where all the shops and cafes are). The host is friendly and helpful. We are able to store our luggage at the hotel after check out. The room is as advertised.

I was very excited for our stay here hwiwber we had a disappointing experience with poor communication and no accountability I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but our experience really fell short of expectations and needs to be shared. We arrived at the hotel late at night after a long journey, only to be told there was no booking under our name. This was despite having a confirmed reservation through Trip.com with updated arrival dates. I showed the staff member multiple confirmation emails, and I even translated one into Turkish to help, but we were repeatedly told there was no booking, with no real attempt to help or investigate further. There was a clear language barrier, but the issue wasn’t just communication. It was the lack of care or basic hospitality. We were eventually given a room that wasn’t what we booked, with a vague promise to fix it the next day. There was no apology or acknowledgement of the stress this caused. The following day, we were moved again, but the new room still lacked a key feature that I made sure it had, and we specifically needed (a microwave). I asked for some form of compensation or goodwill gesture via trip.com for the inconvenience, but the hotel has refused. To be fair, the same staff member helped us carry our luggage to the taxi on our final day, which we appreciated. But that small act doesn’t undo the initial treatment. Even a simple apology would have gone a long way. Trip.com were brilliant, and they did their best to advocate on our behalf. Unfortunately, the hotel took no responsibility and showed no interest in making things right. Mistakes happen, and we understand that. But how you treat your guests in difficult moments speaks volumes. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay here again.

When we reach there no one was there.we were placed to let us know what to do. We had to collect the keys in a box. The room that we were place in was at the 1st floor and we could hear anyone we came back. Door lock was not in good condition.the 1st night we place our luggages behind the door cause we felt un safe, Room was cold during winter, Heater was not strong enough. Television didnt have any connection. bed was very uncomfortable.Room was big though and the hotel was very near to the city.

One room can accommodate three beds, one large and two small. The price-performance ratio is very high. You can directly see the city wall and the strait. It is a few steps to the old city. It takes a few minutes to walk to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The breakfast is good. The uncle at the front desk and the service are very polite. He must carry the luggage to the room

Stylish hotel and room, very interesting design of the room, you want to look at the details. But the room in fact has no window, as it faces the wall, and is tinted, there is no daylight. An interesting solution for a shower/toilet in a standard room is a glass cube, not transparent, but the audibility is maximum)). Automatic lighting is thoughtfully thought out so as not to bump into it when you get up at night. We did not take breakfast. There is an elevator. Water, tea, kettle in the room, convenient. Quiet place Near Istiklal.

I had a great stay at this apartment. It was well-equipped with everything I needed, from kitchen essentials to comfortable furniture. The spacious room provided plenty of space to relax, and the price was very reasonable for the quality offered. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful at night, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Plus, there were plenty of food options nearby, making it easy to grab a meal. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and value.
