Everything is just perfect , from the arrival welcome drinks and the staff are nice. The Onsen is also beautiful.
One thing is not good is the flashing on top of the ceiling is quite annoying for people who don’t like any light during sleep. If it can be improve, say can switch off during night time. Probably it’s a perfect hotel for family vacation!

It is the newest and modern hotel in Beppu Station Area. It just take 5mins walk to the station.
The rooftop swimming pool is really nice with a good night view of Beppu, the hot springs is good too.
I like the semi buffet breakfast, you can choose Japanese or western main dishes, and lots of tasty side dishes in the buffet area.
Last but not least, good value for money!

The hotel design is very unique, and the room planning is outstanding, offering large and comfortable spaces for both sleeping and general relaxation. The private onsen has 2 large glazed doors that open directly to the private terrace, plus a full width and height glazing, enabling the feeling of enjoying an external onsen.
The staff can communicate well in English and is very friendly and helpful.
The one observation that the hotel management can review is on the lighting in the luggage space, it is sensor operated, as one needs to organize the luggage for sometimes, the short duration of lighting on is not sufficient for the packing, please consider having the lighting be changed to manual operation. Otherwise, well done.

You can see the sunrise from the room, and the private hot spring in the room is great and comfortable. There are activities and a lot of free food in the hotel in the evening, and the hotel employees are also very generous with gifts. Two meals per stay, breakfast and dinner are also in the hotel. The lobster sashimi for dinner is delicious and the service staff is very good. After dinner, they gave us a special anniversary gift, which was very heartwarming. Highly recommend this relaxing hotel.

A more traditional Japanese hot spring hotel. The tatami was laid out by the staff. Yukatas were provided. The balcony of the sea view room had a beautiful view in the morning. We arrived late and made a private bath appointment the next morning. The front desk staff was very friendly and helped us make an appointment for Hulu Hot Spring at our request. Thank you very much

It is close by the onsen sight seeing area, it is a very good option to stay one night there after sight seeing around that area. The hot spring in the hotel was excellent, they have two floors for enjoying different feeling of hot spring. One improvement is I travelled with a family of four and since the package was for two adults, they only provide two tatami , the children amenities was not provided including the hot spring clothes, so advice to buy a package of four instead

The hotel is situated 15 minutes taxi ride from the Beppu station. So we have nowhere to go that night. But it's good enough to have hotspring and drinks in the hotel. The staff is very polite and can explain what you can do in English. Then you were lead to the room and tips rejected.
We booked the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. The dinner time is either 6pm or 6:30pm and the breakfast time 8am or 8:30. The dinner is good but maybe my expectation is quite high, it didn't reach my expectation, especially for the sashimi.
For the onsen, there are 4 private onsens and 2 public. One of the private onsens is closed. Therefore we can use 3. You can use the private onsen when it is not occupied. Just lock the door and turn the plate to the other side. But all the onsen are closed by 12 midnight. And there is a room with free flow beer and soda, but it closes at 10pm. Don't drink beer before taking hotspring.
There is also an onsen in our room which can be used anytime. It's hot at night but not so hot in the next morning. Overall, the view is good. The staff is good. The food is good (just not so great) and the onsens are good. Beppu is a good place to stay a few days more

This hotel exceeded expectations. It is large in the same price range and very clean. The hotel restaurant is right on the sea. It has very Japanese service. The only drawback is that it is a bit far to walk to Beppu Station, about 15 minutes! It's very close to Beppu Tower!

It was my first time to experience a ryokan with my friends, and I was very happy to have an authentic Japanese experience. We didn't know how to get to the hotel at Beppu Station. We called and there was a special car to pick us up. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. There were ********* staff there who could communicate in Chinese.
The environment of the hotel is first-class, the interior is Japanese-style tatami style, and Japanese-style pajamas are provided. Looking at the beautiful scenery outside the window is very pleasing to the eye.
The hot springs can be reserved privately, and there are also public hot springs, which are large and comfortable.
Breakfast is also very authentic Japanese cuisine, very high quality and delicious!
I definitely recommend this hotel. Regardless of the service, environment, facilities, and food, it is also very satisfying. It is a hotel that will make people want to stay again.

LLeeEmmaIt feels like home, which is great. The drying function of the toilet is great, and the clothes will dry.
GGuest UserFirst of all, there is no problem with the room. It is clean and tidy, and the space is large enough. There are 5 beds, which is suitable for a large family. The transportation is a bit inconvenient. It only takes 15 minutes to walk to the subway station. It is particularly inconvenient to drag luggage. Friends who do not have a chartered car may want to consider it.
What I particularly want to complain about is that check-in is very troublesome. The entire process is self-service and there is not even a staff member in sight. Because we did not receive the password from the B&B in advance, our group spent almost an hour at the door, calling Ctrip customer service back and forth. , communicated, coordinated, and struggled to find the hotel’s contact information, and then called and communicated for a long time, but the other party said that it was just a platform and had to convey it to the B&B.
I just want to ask what should I do if I don’t understand Japanese? Don't you need to stay here? It's really a bad experience for not giving out passwords and check-in instructions to guests in advance. I probably won't consider this hotel again if I go to this place again. It's too troublesome.
GGuest UserIt's really good value for money. There's no convenience store nearby, so you have to buy it and go in. Be sure to check your check-in ID for the door code you receive by email. And it's hard to find because it's in an alley.
BBreadThe hotel is very close to Beppu Station, about a 5-minute walk away, but check-in is a bit troublesome. I don't think I need to confirm with the hotel beforehand. The hotel will send me the check-in voucher code again, so I have to wait on the street in the cold weather. Fortunately, I contacted trip.com and the staff responded immediately, but it took me 20-30 minutes to get into the hotel. It was a very bad experience😢😢😢😢
JJo TanPros: Stayed at Room 203 meant for 5 person… Spacious and comfortable room! Had a window too!
Good soundproofing between rooms. Only could hear passing by of trains while awake, so wasn’t a big an issue to us.
TV has YouTube and Netflix to watch!
Cons: No lift!!! We had to carry our heavy & big luggages to the 2nd floor! *Should indicate shortage of this important facility in the booking system!
Only 2 parking spaces for 7 units. *Should also indicate in the booking system that parking spaces are first come first served and have to park at nearby paying car parks if both were being taken up.
Will be nice to provide some garbage bags in the room as clearing of food waste from the room was definitely necessary during the many days of our stay!
Dining table (super wobbly and one side of the table legs seemed like giving away very soon) needs to changed/repaired instantly!
JjcsjtuThe second stop of the trip to Kitakyushu in Japan came to the Grand Bese Beppu Hotel (Grand Base Beppu). The hotel is about 700m from Beppu Station and within walking distance.
The hotel is apartment-type, with a full set of kitchen equipment, washing machine, etc. The room is large, there are three beds, two big and one small, can accommodate 5 people, the toiletries are very simple, there are towels and toothbrushes.
The most important thing to say is that this is a completely self-check-in and check-out hotel, no waiter is visible, and the door is closed, there is a password to enter, and the self-check-in window (a video interactive screen) is located inside. The most critical question is, if you book the hotel on Trip.com, should you give me (received) an access code and registration for check-in, and then get a room password after successful registration. However, Trip.com did not give me any passwords and instructions or tips from the beginning to the end (mail/sMS). It was not until I arrived at the door that I found out that this is a fully self-service hotel. I carefully read the English and Japanese instructions at the door and knew that I needed to register. I left a contact number. Under the rogue, I am ready to start the international long-distance contact with the hotel (by the way, if I don’t understand Japanese or English, it’s really annoying). After entering the door, I got the access code and communicated the checkin method after entering the door, and obtained the registration code. Waiting for nearly half an hour. The contact (expended an additional fee of RMB nearly 30 yuan) finally completed the stay of 2 rooms. In this case, it is completely Ctrip's responsibility!
MMIHO.c9Some people live normally like an apartment hotel!
The parking lot is numbered and 3.4.5 can be parked!
You need to enter the number to enter the entrance!
I didn't know the number, so I called and heard it!
And you need a number to enter the room!
Maybe the two numbers were written in the email.
I don't know, but I've erased my email.
and i finally put in the phone again. but check in
ipad! here, ID, phone number, precheck in
You can choose, you can't enter the phone number. Call again
Listen to the ID and enter. The bet is a double bet with 3 wide 々☆
Kitchen supplies are dishes, cups, spoons, forks, chopsticks
There was a range and a pot!
The bath had shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bath towel and towel.
no towels to wash your body. and the rubber packing on the door
I couldn't clean it and there was garbage in the corner.
The corner of the bath is a little pink.
The washing surface has a toothbrush set and hand soap.
Washing machine, washing machine, dryer もあり Convenient!
but i stopped by the dryer's filter clog.
Looking at the filter, it's a bitch!
It's layered, so take it and dry it.
The toilet has a big dust in the gap of the lid. The toilet bowl was beautiful.
I used it with my family, I relaxed in the room, I just went to bed
Thank you for staying at this amount.

AAnonymous UserIf you make a reservation on Trip.com, you don't seem to receive a guide. I visited without knowing the password for check-in. I made a call while writing a phone bill, but someone who can only speak Japanese received a call. It was too uncomfortable to know the password. I didn't know how to connect to Wi-Fi. Other than that, the rest was satisfied. Location facilities are satisfactory
