Located in a quiet part of bustling Lijiang Ancient Town, front of house rode a bicycle cart to the south gate to pick up our luggage on arrival, prepared warm sweet soup (晚安甜汤) every night, welcomed us back from a day of touring with rose tea (花茶) and provided a simple daily breakfast. The room was well appointed with a smart home system that was very fun to use, and premium products like a dyson hairdryer and smart toilet with automatic washlet.

Yunxi definitely is the best place we have stayed throughout our 12 days trip. This is mainly contributed by the warm hospitality of 十三少. 十三少is the best host one could have ever asked for. He cautioned us of the landmines to avoid, helped us in our preparation for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as we have elderly in our group. He suggested restaurants where it suits our Singaporean&Malaysian taste buds and very friendly to our pockets. In the day when we were up at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, he texted us to check if we were doing alright and if the elderly was feeling alright. In his place, he fed us well with endless supply of pomegranate, pu’er tea, snacks and his secret stash of 白酒. 十三少is more than a host to us, he’s a friend, which we will come back to whenever we are at Lijiang. Cost performance (性价比） is definitely very high with high quality bathroom ware (Kohler), Dyson hairdryer, projector tv, mini washing machine and dryer in the room, comfortable beds and the rooms are super spacious. Basic amenities are all well prepared. We will definitely choose this place again should we decide to come back to Lijiang given the warm hospitality by 十三少。
