Well maintained hotel, good location, nice rooms, perfect breakfast buffet with many extras, also presentation round by staff during breakfast with extra types of desserts (e.g. pasteis de nata) and also mini smoothies. Fresh drinks available in the hall, ideal after a long walk on a hot day. The fact that a large part of the staff (foreign students?) does not know Dutch is not a problem of this hotel, but of the entire catering industry in Western Europe, due to chronic staff shortages. One tip to the management: my spot-review of a hotel is done during breakfast: freshly squeezed orange juice or dissolved powder, only hard-boiled eggs and no choice between hard/soft-boiled ones? Especially Western Europeans appreciate a soft-boiled egg at breakfast! What is the problem with taking some of the eggs out of the cooking pot after 4.5 minutes, the rest for ten minutes and then offering two types of boiled eggs. Ecological, because less cooking time, and the unconsumed can be hard-boiled afterwards. I hope that I will have the choice between a soft and a hard boiled egg during my next stay. Then 10/10, now 9.8/10.....
