There was so much wrong with this stay. Including broken lock meaning we were locked out for some time. Poor communication. Items left in the room from previous guests. Stained surfaces. Ripped sheets. Broken furniture. Flickering lamps. Bulbs missing. Blocked drain in the shower. The view is now just a building site in front of the river. Bizarrely a dead plant. Splashes and stains on the walls. Clock with no batteries. I paid £190 for the night, totally feel cheated. I mean it was terrible. Don’t waste your money.

Het was de 2e keer dat ik hier heb verbleven. de eerste keer was een aantal jaar geleden. Dat was toen uitstekend bevallen. Deze keer echter totaal niet. Ik verbleef in loft 3. 1: De plastic stoelen waren gescheurd dus erin zitten kon niet 2: Het tafelblad lag los dus erop leunen of eraan drinken/eten was niet mogelijk 3: Er hing nog een ballon tegen het plafond aan van vorige klanten. 4: Het doucheputje liep niet leeg waardoor je in 3cm water stond in no-time. 5: Schilderij aan de muur hing goed scheef. Niet recht te krijgen. 6: zwarte strepen op de witte muur. Ik lees hier veel soortgelijke ervaringen. Erg triest want het pand is zelf prachtig en locatie geweldig. Ik kom er in ieder geval niet meer. €170,= voor een nacht is veel te veel voor een kamer in deze staat.

Nice on first glance but bad in the details
My partner and I decided to stay here after having a pleasant stay in another room at this location last year. But this trip we were unfortunately very disappointed. While the images online are appealing, and even upon first glance the room is nice when you enter, but things go downhill from there as you use the space. Two of the pillows on the bed are huge (no seriously, perhaps the largest I’ve ever seen) and quite uncomfortable to sleep with. The microwave/oven combo didn’t work - which was quite frustrating as having a useable kitchen was the reason we booked this place! The dining room table wobbled significantly. The check-in instructions were not sent to me on time, so I had to call several numbers to find the right person to give me the details to get into my room, since they have no actual reception. Then they ask you to do all the dishes but don’t provide dish soap to do so - so we had to run and by some, despite not being able to use the kitchen as much as we intended in the first place.
The view over the water is stunning, and the location is nice and convenient.

Une semaine avant la date du séjour, nous devons annuler pour cas de force majeur. L’hôtel n’a pas chercher à comprendre et à annuler la réservation en nous demandant des frais d’annulation équivalent au prix du séjour. Après réflexion, et pour ne pas perdre cet argent, nous les recontactons dans l’heure pour finalement venir ce qu’ils refusent. Ils refusent de rembourser, de modifier les dates et même qu’on vienne comme prévu! Nous n’avons donc même pas pu séjourner à l’hôtel et nous avons dû payer les frais d’annulation alors que nous étions d’accord de venir comme prévu. Nous avons fait la demande d’annulation. Elle est refuser, nous devrions donc par apres pouvoir choisir si l’on vient ou si l’on paie les frais. De plus, un cas de force majeur est dépendant de la volonté des gens. Honteux.

The flat looked nice at first sight but had some flaws, for example the shower flooded, the curtains didnt close properly. We only had 1 towel per person, and the towels smelled bad. we had a really bad experience with the odeur in the flat, which they tried to cover up with perfume sticks. The last night was so bad, it smelled like our bed was on top of a sewer, so we decided to leave the apartment the same night, a day early. We confronted the contactperson, but unfortunately they did not take our complaint serious. We were in appartment number 3.. I would not recommend staying here if you are visiting Antwerp.

Ingen gratis parkering - skønt lovet
Super beliggenhed med udsigt over floden Schelde. Noget slidt inventar: To revnede plasticstole og et ødelagt bord - ustabilt pga. løs bordplade. Ingen gratis parkering overfor skønt det stod på hjemmesiden - vi valgte hotellet, fordi det lå centralt med gratis parkering overfor (parkeringspladsen blev nedlagt i november).
Vi oplevede at blive låst ude, fordi koden til hoveddøren ikke virkede, hvilket var uheldigt fordi der ikke er reception med betjening. Jeg ringede til udlejeren og vi blev lukket ind efter 20 minutter af en ung mand sendt af udlejeren.
Der var en fin køkken-ø med kogeplader, vask og køleskab, men så lidt service, at kun morgenkaffe var en reel mulighed.
Vil vi komme igen? Helt sikkert - nu kender vi jo betingelserne ;-)

Great place and value.
Great place to stay, also suited for longer stays. Close to old town and shopping, close for sightseeing and there is plenty of parking on the street. Great place is you value a larger space.
Our room was good and we are happy with the stay. Only pit was hard pillows.
