The Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn is an average old-style motel that's very convenient to the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad rides. Located just a short walk from the railroad's station, the rooms in this motel are small but functional. The staff (just the owner, who lives on premises) was very friendly and is used to railroad enthusiasts staying here. Lots of free parking. While close to the Railroad, you'll need to drive to anywhere else in Antonito (such as to eat). This isolated location is very quiet.

The lady called then sand bugs. They looked like roaches to me. We did not stay and there was no refund. Check your room before you pay. A very old place. It is worth the drive to Alamosa and back if you are taking the train ride. Colorado Health Department are you checking this place?

It is a good clean room for the price . Yes, the rooms are dated, but everything works and it’s clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and made them safe self available if needed.

Pillows were so thin the were almost non-existant, no smoke alarm, noisy upstairs neighbor, musty smell but you get what you pay for

Not very comfy
The room was huge, empty, and poorly decorated. Was not comfy. The heating system is really loud and kept me awake.
This hotel is in need of some serious updates.

The Narrow Gauge Railroad Inn is an old motel right next to the Narrow Gauge Railroad. The staff was great. The rooms were exceptionally clean and we were very comfortable in the beds. The only problem we had was the drain in the bathtub when we showered. The bathtub would fill up faster than the water would drain. The price was great and I would stay here again.
