We went there as a part of a a suggested tour. We visited the Akamasoa village which was incredible. However,our experience at the hostel's restaurant was awful. First,they were hesitant to receive us,perhaps because the hostel was deserted with no other guests spotted,we felt as intruders. Then, they do not have an A la Carte menu,rather a daily menu that seems to be created from leftovers. The choice was very limited as if they did not wish to indulge us. The waiting for the dishes to be served was unbearable,one hour for one dish even though we were the only guests in the whole restaurant. As it was a disappointing experience, we asked to speak with the manager and were shocked when they said there was no manager at all. So that explains the poor quality service we experienced. Such a pity...

The hostel is placed in the heart of Akamasoa, the town within the city of Antananarivo, which has Père Pedro Opeka created from nothing. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. The rooms are very clean, big and comfortable. We felt very welcome with them and despite it costs a little bit more than other accomodations in Tana, it was well worth it. And it is all for the good cause, as the income goes to the organization of Père Pedro.

On peut considérer 2 choses différentes : - vous voulez faire une bonne action en donnant de l'argent à la merveilleuse association du Père Pedro, et être proche de sa célèbre messe du dimanche matin. C'est l'endroit idéal ! - vous voulez aller dans un bel hôtel très sûr à Tananarive. Et bien, c'est toujours l'endroit idéal ! En effet, j'ai rarement vu, y compris en Europe, une telle qualité de décoration, à la fois sobre, originale et confortable, fort bien insonorisé par ailleurs. Excellent rapport qualité-prix par ailleurs. Bref, un choix excellent !

Hostel participatif dont les bénéfices aident l’œuvre du Père Pedro: Akamasoa. Tout était parfait . Le restaurant imaginatif et de qualité. Le personnel d’une très grande gentillesse et si attentif Avec une vue exceptionnelle sur Antananarivo. Un peu difficile d’accès mais les taxis sont très efficaces . Je recommande vivement 👌

Tout était parfait! Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour un séjour de 3 jours. Notre but était d’aller passer du temps pour découvrir le village d’Akamasoa créé il y a 35 ans par le père Pedro. Résultat: hôtel très beau aménagé avec goût. Personnel très sympathique et compétent. Cuisine délicieuse. Literie très bonne. La vue de notre chambre sur Tana était splendide avec en prime de beaux coucher de soleil. Cerise sur le gâteau, les bénéfices de l’établissement sont reversés à l’association pour continuer à développer le village.

Merveilleuse expérience. Très bel hôtel perché sur les hauteurs de Tana. Vue imprenable, accueil de l'équipe incomparable et surtout totale immersion dans le village d'Amakasoa. N'hésitez pas à demander de visiter le village, les employés de l'hôtel le feront avec plaisir. Vous découvrirez l'incroyable travail réalisé par l'association du père Pedro. Des petites maisons colorées, à la crèche jusqu'aux universités en passant par la maternité.... Le prix payé sert une bonne cause.
