"I am writing this review as a warning to anyone considering this hotel. My stay was not just disappointing; it was genuinely awful and has potentially impacted my health. Do not make the same mistake I did. 1. Filthy Conditions: From the moment I entered the room, it was clear no proper cleaning had been done. The floors were sticky, surfaces were dusty, and there was a lingering odor of neglect. The bathroom was the worst part. The sink and shower had visible grime and hair from previous guests. The toilet was not properly cleaned, and mildew was growing in the shower grout. This wasn't "tired," it was dirty. 2. Unprofessional and Rude Staff: When I brought these issues to the front desk, I was met with indifference and outright rudeness. The staff member did not apologize or offer to rectify the situation. Instead, they shrugged and implied I was being fussy. Their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, making a bad situation infinitely worse. 3. The Unforgivable Health Consequence: The most serious issue occurred after sleeping in their beds. I woke up with an itchy, red rash on my torso and arms. I cannot state with absolute medical certainty it was from the linens, but I have no history of skin allergies, and it appeared only after contact with their bedding. This suggests the sheets were either not changed or washed with harsh, improper chemicals. A hotel that gives a guest a rash has failed in its most basic duty: providing a safe and clean environment. 4. Overall Experience: This hotel is a textbook example of neglect. It exploits guests by charging for a service (a clean, safe room) it blatantly does not provide. It is managed with apathy and staffed with individuals who have no business in hospitality. Final Warning: If you value your health, your money, and your peace of mind, stay anywhere else. This place is a disgrace to the industry. I will be seeking a full refund and reporting these conditions to the local health department. Save yourself the trouble and avoid at all costs."

"I have to say this was not my favorite B and B, and we have stayed in many! A positive is that the bed was comfortable. But so many things go to the negative side: 1. We had a hard time finding the proprietor despite telling her exactly what time we would arrive. Some sort of bell or buzzer would have been helpful. 2. Despite it being called a "Bed and Breakfast", you had to pay extra for the breakfast. I've never had that happen before. 3. The breakfasts were sparse, and, although I get that the proprietor was trying to offer something different, she should have had some regular offerings for those who are not adventurous. There was no juice, no muffins or extra fruit, etc. There was a nice yogurt and jam appetizer, and then the main meal. No bacon or meats, no toast, etc. And she had a European coffee maker that was extremely difficult to figure out. Even though we asked for regular coffee the second morning, she insisted on using the machine for a cup of coffee that Hubby didn't like. 4. The room temperature was controlled at 70 degrees. We had no control over the temperature. When I explained that I like my bedroom a cold 60 degrees for sleep, she assured me that it would feel cold. It did not. 5. I get that it's a Victorian house, but no one likes an old fashioned bathroom. Nothing was convenient, especially that there was no place to put anything down. A small table or counter would have been a good addition. 6. Sad to say, but what finally put me into the "I won't come here again" category: Someone asked the proprietor where she was from, and she answered "Ukraine". And that launched a very long political discussion that I feel had absolutely no place while trying to have a pleasant breakfast."

"We had an amazing stay at the Wolff Cove Inn. The location is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful lake views that make it the perfect place to relax, unwind, or even propose!! The service was outstanding- Geoff and Nicole were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with anything we needed! They went above and beyond in helping us enjoy this special weekend! The rooms were spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making the stay both comfortable and relaxing. Food was a highlight— Chef Kevin made one of the most fresh, delicious, and unique meals for our proposal dinner! We highly recommend Wolff Cove Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway. We can’t wait to come back!"
