We had a great overnight stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, easy to find, with plenty of free parking. There is a grocery store right across the street and a few restaurants within easy walking distance. It’s about a 15-min walk to the ferry terminal. Check-in was easy, you just get key codes for any doors that you need to open. The hotel is very modern and stylish, clean and well-maintained. Our second floor room was spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was big, as was the shower enclosure, and the hot water was wonderful. We had a view out over the main street and as long as the windows were closed, we heard no road noise, and had a very peaceful sleep. The in-room facilities – Wifi, TV, mini-fridge, etc – all worked great. We were surprised to find that the hotel has a basic gym in the basement. There are a few pieces of cardio gear (treadmill, rower, bike) and a small selection of weights, mainly dumbbells. Good enough for basic workouts. The breakfast was simple but excellent, served in the very nice little café area with the morning sun streaming in. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to other travellers staying in Andenes.
