Extremely Disappointed – A Nightmare Experience at Madhuban Resort We had booked 7 Mandavi Gom cottages for 1 night on 28th June, expecting a peaceful and premium stay. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be the exact opposite. The service at the 24x7 restaurant was absolutely pathetic. The waiters seemed clueless about the menu and were literally fumbling with our orders. Our entire order was wrongly served, and to make things worse, all the breads were uncooked. We had to call the head chef ourselves to show him the problem, and even he agreed they were improperly cooked. Despite that, the issue was not corrected and we were left hungry and frustrated, having to walk out of the restaurant without eating but paying a bill of 13k. To add insult to injury, their prices are absurdly high—for example, ₹250 for a glass of chaas, but the food quality and service are far below even basic standards. The baked macaroni wasn’t even baked, and although we had ordered à la carte, they served items from the buffet without informing us. What’s more shocking is that despite all these complaints, no one from the management even tried to make up for the poor experience. No apology, no compensation, not even a genuine effort to improve our stay. The final straw was when we requested a few lemon slices to our room and were told we’d have to order an entire green salad just to get them! Absolutely ridiculous. Clearly, they are only interested in looting customers, not serving them. This place is a disaster in the name of a resort. We do not recommend Madhuban to anyone looking for even basic hospitality. They have zero regard for customer experience, and it was a total waste of money and time.
