the place is not as the photos show, everything was dirty, the bathrooms where the worst and the bed was not clean and had bugs in it. The worst stay of my life

The hostel is in a good location out of the centre, it's an easy tram ride in to Centraal with very frequent trams. You get what you pay for, it's cheap and cheerful but very good value for budget accomodation just a short trip from Amsterdam city centre. The beds were very comfortable, the room was larger than expected and very airy as we were in an attic room and all the windows opened. The stairs were a bit treacherous, very steep and winding but a nice feature of an old traditional building. The showers and facilities were fine, kept clean by other travellers and staff and the kitchen was fine too. I would definitely stay here again for cheap, reasonable accommodation.

Stairway is very dangerous. Wifi is not accessible if 2nd floor. Check-in start from 3pm. Not 2pm. Check out must be done till 10am. City tax should be paid while check-in. Really noisy at all room because of street in intersection.

No water heater seriously? The location is great. The carer is kind. But the kitchen is so small 😂

Zero privacy with the beds in Dorms really close to each others. And a really small option to prepare your own food.

Worst hostel that I ever being to (which is actually a lot to say) the only good thing is the location but considering Amsterdam's size doesn't mean that much. Noisy, dirty and small. Somehow the toilet was always disgusting and there wasn't anybody taking care of nothing. Also one small kitchen for more than 40 persons!!! Don't waste your time coming here if you want to have a nice time in Amsterdam.

Is smaller then i expected, but it served the purpose, the bed is comfortable with warm blanket. And have a nice location

Tiny room, hardly to walk in the room, no proper hot water. But man staff was kind.

A place with limited space.

We are experienced users of hotels and hostels with shared facilities. For the price we payd the accomodation (private room, shared bathroom/toilet) is very expensive. The room was ok, but noisy, the balcony door leaked, so street noise was loud, people continuously walked cross the hallway the whole night, slamming doors. No chair or decent closet to put your belongings. The shower wasnt clean, lots of hair/soap debris in the corners. Have to pay extra for towel use.
