I came here with my GF for an anniversary trip away, and when we were settling down for the night, we found the sheets has sand in them. I went to call the front desk, and the room phone was dead. We had to call the outside number to get the hotel agent. The agent was apologetic and brought us up clean sheets, but then we noticed a thick layer of dust on the overhead fan blades. Also there was mold and soap scum in the corners of the shower - clearly they are failing in their housekeeping. The next day I spoke to the manager, Thomas, who gave us some excuse when we asked for a partial refund for the room, saying that because we booked through *******, a third-party, they couldn't give us any money back (really?). The most they would do was give us some gift cards for a local restaurant. It's a very disappointing result for what was supposed to be a special weekend. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the proximity to the beach, otherwise there are better places to stay that are cleaner and give good customer service.

Our room was very tiny, old and run down. The bathroom door lock was broken and most of the time the door didn't even stay closed. This is more like a motel. It is advertised as being on the beach but there is construction going on and beach is closed. You have to walk quite a distance which is very inconvenient with chairs, umbrella, cooler. The main reason we picked this hotel was because it was on the beach but if we knew the beach was closed due to construction we would have went with a completely different hotel. You are better off driving to a different part of the island for closer beach access.

The hotel was beachside but there is a bar right in front. Unless you are on the 3rd floor you will not have a clear view of the ocean. WiFi connectivity is very poor. Otherwise we had an enjoyable stay - steps from the beach and a lovely park. The hotel was clean and pleasant, staff was accommodating, and the breakfast was very good.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at Seaside. Comfortable, clean room. Great breakfast fare. So nice to be close to the beach, lots of restaurant choices and great shopping. Friendly, caring staff. Shout out to Thomas.... thank you for your hospitality!

This was our fourth stay. The hotel is getting very run-down. Our ceiling fan was broken, the window sashes were damaged, so you couldn't raise the blinds to enjoy the view, and the room was not as clean as on prior visits. Only one light in the sitting area, so it's dark, and the sofa was dirty and worn out. Room cleaning is only available every three days! Breakfast was marginal, and there was mold on the bread. We checked out early, forfeiting one night, but it was worth the cost, as we wouldn't have had to stay there another night.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how affordable, comfortable, and clean this hotel was, especially right on the beach! I would definitely stay here again. My room had an ocean view, was very clean, and had a separate bedroom and living area. Staff was friendly and helpful. For this price point and location, I was very impressed.

We were greeted by a rude attendant. Got to our room & dirty linens were piled by the bed. The GM happened to be in his office & did give us an upgraded room. Location is great. Steps from the beach & walking distance to 2 great restaurants. One on the beach & one right across. The Inn was decorated great & was bright & welcoming with beach decor. Breakfast was included. Pool was quite small. We'd definitely give them a second try. The island is beautiful. The beaches are amazing! Downtown was quaint & ended on the intercostal.

The room was very cold, 68 degrees. Could not increase temperature so we shut off ac. Fan had 1 speed, high. No cream or sugar available in room for morning coffee. Employee at desk was not cordial. Didn’t speak to us or make eye contact. Very lukewarm personality. We had to pay additional $25 to check in 1 hour early. Breakfast was good. Coffe was god. Property was lovely.

Pleasant Stay
Our "Ocean View Suite" was very pleasant. It was our first stay. We did not exactly what to expect after reading some negative reviews. The place does show it's age, but seems to be well taken care of. Thomas at the front desk was very helpful.
