My wife and I stayed here for one week in June of 2025. We chose this resort as it seemed to be the most well equipped in Amboseli. My wife has some disabilities, so we did not want to "rough it" by staying in one of the other camps in a "tent". We found the facilities to be very clean and well kept. My wife is on oxygen and needs a wheelchair when we are on vacation, as she is not able to walk long distances. The entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. At every turn, they made us feel like their special guest. Even though they have a buffet daily, they asked us if their chef could make any other special dishes for us. Special mention to Raphael, our server who attended to us the entire week. He was great! He even made a handwritten list of Swahili words translated to English for me to learn. Thompson was our guide on our daily game drives. He was absolutely the best and tremendously knowledgeable of the park and where to find the animals. Thanks to all the rest of the staff for making our week memorable. We may not get back to Africa, but we are telling everyone that this is the place to go if they are wanting to do a safari !!

Lets start with the view here from our porch directly onto the game reserve with wild elephants, zebras and Wildebeest every day. Absolutely amazing experience. Wild local vervet monkeys and baboons reside on the property and while absolutely adorable, some of the sneakier little devils may steal your items so beware! Rooms were very nice and clean with nightly turn down services and the main lodge, bar and buffet were quite pleasant. Would definitely recommend to stay here again.

Amazing landscape right outside your window. Comfortable rooms and close proximity to Amboseli. Tasty food and excellent service. Loved the tiki-like bar in the lounge with balcony seating. Fantastic drinks. The monkey and baboon population is entertaining and often friendly with monkeys in particular peeking into room windows.

Beautiful setting, with animals close by on the other side of an electric fence. The central restaurant, lobby and bar building is very attractive. The restaurant buffet includes a wide range of dishes, with excellent staff and service. The Elephant bar is on two levels, a pleasant place for a pre- or post-meal drink. The lodges were more substantial and spacious than others we stayed in, clean and functional. There is an outdoor pool with seating, loungers and pool towels for a little relaxation between safari drives.

Beautiful facilities and setting, excellent cuisine and customer oriented culture! Well located for wildlife viewing. Facilities feel resort like. Also enjoyed the nightly local entertainment. Staff used our names on a personal level.

We enjoyed our stay at Ol Tukai Lodge in Amboseli. The hotel is beautifully located within the park, offering fantastic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and regular sightings of buffalo, zebra, and gazelles just beyond the fence. Our initial room assignment was disappointing—we had booked a triple for three adults but were given a double room with a small bed more suitable for a child. After raising the issue with our agent, we were promptly moved to a more suitable room with three adult-sized beds, each with its own mosquito net. The bathroom featured a hot water shower and came with toiletries, and there was also an electric kettle in the room. We particularly enjoyed having tea in the small open patio in the morning, often sharing the space with a few resident monkeys. The buffet meals were decent, and the restaurant staff were attentive, though it can get quite crowded at times. A special mention to Abby, our server, who went above and beyond to ensure we were served lunch despite our late arrival due to a jeep breakdown. Her warmth and efficiency truly stood out. The on-site curio shop also had a nice selection of souvenirs.

I had an amazing time at Oltukai, our guide moses was friendly and knew so much about the animals , birds and the park history. The service team was great ,Mary always smiling and helpful. The front desk team was also welcoming with Edward being the contact person. The room had a stunning view of the park with animals always passing by, cool experience. We will definitely visit again.
