Fantastic Five day visit to this great location. Our room had a view across the Amboselli Park with herds of Elephants walking across the park 50 meters from our door daily. Poolside view across the park with Killimanjaro in all its glory as a backdrop. Buffet meals served 3 times daily with an extensive selection of dishes from across the world together with fresh fruit and local fare. All the staff are welcoming and extreemly helpful including nighttime walks back to the room with Njonjo who illuminated herds of hippos grazing the other side of the security fence and particular thanks should go the our delightul room steward Lydiah whose help and service throughout our stay was the icing on the cake!!

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms are very well designed and spacious. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are very well kept with unbelievable views of the plains beyond it and the amazing mount Kilimanjaro in the background. We loved sitting for pre-dinner drinks up in the balcony above the bar and round the fire pit after dinner. The food was good (not amazing) and there was enough variety for everyone's taste. Service was very good and Raphael, our waiter, was very efficient as well as friendly. There were a couple of birthdays on other tables and all the staff joined in to sing the "jambo" song and danced while taking a cake to their table. It added a bit of fun to the lovely atmosphere. The bar was very nice and the waiters and waitresses did a good job, even scaring the thieve monkeys away!! Check in and out was also very easy. All staff in the lodge seemed very friendly and efficient. A very well run hotel. If I would improve something would probably be the pressure of the shower was quite poor, and also two keys per bedroom would be helpful, as you so need it if someone is asleep in the bedroom and tge other one would like to go for a swim, or if someone would like to go to bed earlier than the other...

One of the most amazing stays!all the staff was really helpfulful! Warm hand towels waiting for us upon check in! A nice room with amazing view on the mountain! And the food was great! The location was amazing and inside the park with easy access for safari!

A very good lodge with lovely food, good cabin, nice grounds with a lovely pool. Good base for seeing so many animals. The best for us was seeing the elephants relaxing in the wetlands. It looked like there was 2 species of elephants with the wet ones almost black compared the dry ones that were grey. Unfortunately we did not see the views of Kilimanjaro as it was very hazy for the days were were there.

Oltukai never disappoints! Best location, best service. The staff really make you feel at home. The rooms design is brilliant, each room has a unique view. Beds are really comfortable. Been here so many times, and will definitely come back.

Ol Tukai Resort is a wonderful launching pad for Amboseli National Park. The grounds and service are both A+. The hotel is inside the park, and wildlife is everywhere, both on and outside the grounds. Our safari included four different resorts, and this was by far the poorest food. Our room, while well-apportioned, was incredibly hot, and we found it difficult to sleep. It was about 29 degrees outside during the day, but the room had poor ventilation, and the ceiling fan did not affect the bed. We had a great stay, but there is room for improvement.
