We are frequent visitors to the island we always stay at Belizean Shores. It’s quaint, small, unpretentious and perfect for our needs. We love the pool with swim up bar and the people are friendly and accommodating. We just got back and are already planning our next trip.

5 stars ! Belizean shores exceeded expectations. We traveled with our two kids (13 and 15) and stayed in room 6B. The room was very spacious and was about 20 steps to the pool! The entire staff were very friendly and accommodating. We met quite a few guests that were on their 4th or 5th trip to the Belizean Shores. The grounds are very clean and the landscaping is excellent . We rented a golf cart from the hotel and every 3 days we were allowed to trade in the cart for a new one so we didn’t have to gas it up. The resort is about a 15 minute golf cart ride to San Pedro and 25 minutes to secret beach. The only slightly negative thing I could say is the ac wouldn’t go below 72 degrees. The entire unit was cold except for the master that usually stayed around 75-76. Other than that I would highly recommend this resort

We stayed here at a friend's recommendation and really enjoyed our visit. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen which was perfect for our family of 3. We loved the pool area and the staff who communicated really well over Whatsapp. You could swim off the dock to a trampoline in the water and rent kayaks for free (which we haven't tried). Having the dock there was useful as we got picked up for one of our tours right off the dock. We were visiting early July and the whole coast was covered in a ton of seaweed, so it was smelly at the time of our visit and we couldn't enjoy the beach much. The hotel had a golf cart rental available, which was convenient as this is the primary way to get around. It's about 20-30 min drive back to town which we didn't mind. It was helpful to have a breakfast place, a couple of restaurants, a pharmacy, and a small grocery right there by the entrance to the hotel.

100% recommend belizean shores resort if visiting Ambergris Caye! Super friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with kitchen that has all the appliances, great location close to action but far enough to enjoy quiet and relaxing nights, close to restaurants and bars with an easy golf cart ride to secret beach and other little gems around the island. Dock right outside for pick up for catamaran, snorkeling, scuba diving and more. Front desk can help you set up excursions if you want. Wonderful spa services. All around 10/10! Special shout out to Tua and Freddie for taking such good care of us at the swim up bar all week! Excellent hospitality. Thanks everyone!

I usually stay at Coco Beach, the "sister" resort nearby. But, going alone, Coco did not have a one bedroom with a sea view. So, I ended up here and I am glad I did. I have walked through this resort several times and always thought it was very nice and, it is. The staff was wonderful and I had a great time. I won't mention names because I will forget someone, but the staff is wonderful. Very nice rooms and the entire resort grounds are great. I would not hesitate to go back.

It was a great place to stay. The staff at the resort was so helpful. They take care of everything from booking the flights from the mainland and transportation to the resort. Made the trip super easy and stress free. Look forward to going back!

Pool and bar were nice to relax after daily activities. Excursions left right from the hotel's dock. (Tuff E Nuff guys were fantastic!) Could use soster-properties restaurant and facilities. We were in the sea front upper and it was great. Staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly.
