"We had a lovely stay here with a large group of friends. The hotels location is perfect, right in the busy centre, next to the restaurants, shops. The museum and other attractions are in easy walking distance. There is a car park nearby where hotel guests can park their cars for free. Our room was small but cute, clean and comfortable. We had a tiny balcony overlooking the sea. The Wi fi worked well. Breakfast was really excellent, all of the products good quality, the homemade jams and cake very tasty. Breakfast is served in a really lovely conservatory connected to a pretty garden. You can feel that the staff really care about their guests. The only negative I could find were the steep stairs, there is no lift, so this could be a problem for elderly guests or people with mobility issues. Although, I'm sure the staff would be happy to help with bags etc. if asked. We left with happy memories and I hope to return to one day. "

Having traveled around the world, I have rarely encountered hosts who are so kind, warm, and generous. You don’t feel like a guest, but rather like a member of the family. Leaving was hard, and we left with only one wish: to come back as soon as possible. Thank you for everything!"

"I marked it as 1 point in the comment, but it is a disgraceful hostel that does not even deserve 1 point. We came to relax for 4 days, but our first Amasra experience was ruined because of this disgraceful hostel and business owners. This hostel is a real mess! We had to choose this place just because it accepts pets. We looked at the photos and said that it is good and not bad. The important thing is that it is a clean room. I beg your pardon, every particle in the room is covered in *****! Sofa, bed, sheets, pillow cases. The worst part is that when you enter the room at that moment, you pay directly since you are not going to bed and they take the payment in advance from mobile transactions. We paid for the 2 nights we didn't stay and they threw the mess of the room on our cat. You can never reach the owners of the business, no matter what you say, they set up someone involved in the scheme who is in denial until the end. We cannot refund the fee, they even tried to give us the room so we could change the sheets! What would happen if the sheets were changed? The bed base and the seat would be sticky and our cat would stay there with us! We paid 2,700 TL for the room we did not stay in, just the cost of staying. There is such a conspiracy that to return to the terminal in the city, there are no buses at any hour, you have to call a taxi and we paid 750 TL for the taxi. Now we have barely canceled our future bus tickets and we will wait for hours, now our bus will arrive, we will not be able to reach Ankara before 7 hours!"

We were hosted with a smile and with pleasure, not at a hotel but at an old friend's house. Ms. Gülşah and Mr. Vedat had prepared Çeşm-i Amasra for their guests... The days we went came across heavy rain, what a shame... Their energy, smiling faces, the wonderful view of the hotel and its garden made us forget everything. A breakfast beyond pleasure, the beauty of finding the human warmth we forget but miss in a hotel... If you find the opportunity to escape from life, it is one of the best places you can escape to, you will not regret it.. "During our weekend trip to Amasra, our family stayed for one night at the Seymen Hotel. We parked our car in the hotel's parking lot and didn't move it until we left, as the hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of everything. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was good considering the circumstances. We warmed ourselves with the air conditioning when it got cooler in the morning. I didn't see anything malfunctioning in the hotel. The 3rd and 4th floors have sea views. I don't think the other floors have a sea view. In fact, the 1st floor definitely doesn't have a sea view, as there are houses in front of it. You have breakfast on the rooftop with a beautiful view. We would like to go again if we have the opportunity. Thank you."

"It is probably the most cost-effective hotel in Turkey. A house with two bedrooms and one living room, and a sea view! It’s only over 300 per night, which is a really good deal! The house is very clean and the room is very comfortable It's just that the bathroom is a little small. And there is no elevator, so if you live upstairs, you need to take it down yourself. It's been renovated recently, so it's a bit noisy during the day, but it doesn't matter if you're outside during the day. It's very quiet at night, and you can hear the sound of waves and seagulls. Really good. Because of the noise problem, the hotel also gave us a beautiful Turkish ceramic plate, which was really embarrassing."
