Me and my wife have stayed at several hotels over the years this is definitely one of our favorites... The atmosphere is amazing and the staff super helpful and friendly...

Wonderful lodging experience. Staff is very friendly. Room is spacious and clean and bed is super comfy. Breakfast is good. No deposit required. Check in and out is hassle-free. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay there. I felt secure and clean in the updated room. Only thing I can complain about was there was no breakfast during my stay. Everything else was great. Good energy.

Definitely did not look like the photos! I’d say that was a total bait & switch. We were expecting a ‘newly renovated’ room. The first room they put us in was not that, heavy smoke hung in the air & the furnishings, gross! The front desk lady was kind and found us a room that was just okay. Everything about the room was cheap; paint, lighting, furnishings, etc. It was nothing like the photos. We should have taken our own photos. We were there to sleep & then move on. The bed was comfortable and that’s a huge win. Would we stay here again? Probably not

I have signed up Route 66 trip with friends. Cactus Cove is one of the hotels the tour books with. Because I have mobility needs I called the hotel to check their wheelchair accessibility. The woman at the front desk said they don’t have ADA compliant rooms, though she believes one room has a roll in shower. I was heartened to hear I could stay with my group and I then asked about grab bars by the toilet. She said that they did NOT have grab bars. It is shameful that they are not able to make that simple and inexpensive addition of grab bars to accommodate their guests. Obviously, I will not be able to stay in the same hotel as my group.

Not worth it! Do not do not do not do not advertise the rooms are newly renovated when they are not! This place is like the big Texan motel the westerner desk clerks are rude awful showers! I would not stay here for a bowl of piss jack daniels!

From the outside, it doesn’t look like much but inside it’s amazing! Friendly staff, comfortable, quiet rooms, and so much fun! Great spot to take families with young children, but we had a blast as well (couple in our late 50’s). Great bar/restaurant with live music and dancing too! Breakfast was also wonderful! Wish we lived closer! Tip: bring a deck of cards to enjoy the atmosphere outside of your room while watching the action going on all around you!
