"The hotel is a 15/20 minute walk to the center of Amalfi town. The rooms are very clean. The rooftop has a nice view. We were disappointed that the rooms lack basic amenities - no shampoo/toothpaste, etc. Water is not provided and you will be charged for it. The swimming pool in the photos is not part of the hotel, but belongs to another hotel. Overall, a good stay."

"We are a large family group of 8 adults and three children under 6. Villa Alba d'Oro exceeded all of our expections. It starts with hosts Alessio and Martine. Chef Mossimo and house manager Luda were incredible. We hired chef for three meals and they were fantastic with courses of local seafood, pasta and dessert. There was always enough left over for lunch the next day! We all loved the pool and don't let the stairs give you pause. The treat at the end of the stairs and from the Villa is a view you will never forget. We can already hear the 15th century walls calling us back for another visit."

"Avoid it! Terrible experience there! I guess this accommodation will always have customers due to its location, not in the very Amalfi centre but just a few steps from the Duomo. But this is the only positive thing they have. Check-out time very (very) early and check-in time controlled by the staff, if you are exploring the Costiera Amalfitana you have to bear in mind the check-in time or you may lose your booking and your money as well. They tried to take photos of my credit card by the two sides of it, trying to get also my CVV number! Be careful! They asked me for an extra 50€ due to a strange "resort fee", never explained before and they say you must pay that amount only in cash... Apart from that, the facilities are not linked to the amount you pay for them, too far away from a good value for money. Unflinchingly, the worst part of my time in the Costiera Amalfitana, they might ruin your experience in an idyllic place."

"Stunning peaceful location ( Salita Monte Fungione) from the bustle of Amalfi. The B&B is beautiful, and staff are extremely attentive and helpful. It offers a lovely selection of breakfast on a terrace to enjoy the seaviews. Our room was clean and a generous size. The bathroom shower was good, especially to wash away the aches of hiking and step walking. The big bonus was the shuttle service to/from Amalfi. This helped to make the most of our short visit (3 nights). Thanks to Nicoletta, Filippo, and Maria for making our stay a memorable and treasured one."

"The hotel is a 4-minute walk to Amalfi Beach and a 2-minute walk to the Cathedral. close to tourist attractions You shouldn't bring your car here. You have to drive dangerously through a square full of people, and it is 300m from the hotel to the main building, so you have to bring your luggage and come back to the hotel. They said it was 25 euros for parking in the evening, and they told me to pay 35 euros in the morning. I ended up paying 35 euros. The hotel is on a hill alley, not on the road. You have to climb the narrow stairs with your luggage. The rooms are small and the furniture is old. Compared to the facilities, the Amalfi Hotel is outrageously expensive and outdated. There is no need to stay in expensive and backward accommodations just because it is close to the beach, and bathe in the palm-sized Amalfi Beach full of people. I regret it. There is a reason most tourists take accommodations in Rome and take a day tour of the south."

"The owner here is incredibly kind and generous! Not only did they upgrade us to a sea-view room, but they also arranged a car to take us to the port when we checked out. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, right on the Amalfi Coastline, and we had stunning sea views from our balcony. For an extra 10 euros, you can enjoy breakfast in the morning with bread, fruit, milk, and more. I highly recommend taking the train to Salerno station and then a ferry from there. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the ferry terminal. You can buy tickets on the spot at the terminal for boats to Positano and Capri, and there are also convenient return services to Salerno. For our return journey, it was only a 38-minute train ride from Salerno station to Naples train station. From Naples train station, the Alibus to the airport took just 15 minutes, so we had plenty of time to catch our flight. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I visit Amalfi!"

"It's a B&B, but the owner is very capricious. He won't check in after 5 pm, and will close the door and leave. However, Ctrip information shows that the latest check-in time is 22:00, which is wrong. Therefore, I was unable to check in after arriving at 19:00 that day, so I had to change hotels. The hotel reception is on the fourth floor of a building without an elevator. The entrance is on the left side of the arcade in Figure 1"

"My mother’s dream had always been to visit Amalfi. After 3 nights in Ravello we stayed in Amalfi town for 3 nights at Hotel Luna Convento and it was absolute perfection!!! My mother has a bad hip so couldn’t walk far or for long so she’d paint in the afternoons from our hotel room. The view was absolutely magnificent! We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious our suite was and the full length balcony overlooking the ocean and Amalfi town was absolutely perfect. My mother said this hotel was the highlight of our whole month in Europe trip. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too and everything about our stay was amazing and we will cherish the special memories here, forever! Thank you!!"
