The hotel's location is quite good, making it convenient to get around. You can walk or take the bus. I read the reviews and knew the front desk was on the 17th floor, which was easy to find.
Breakfast was on the 18th floor, offering a panoramic view of Almaty, which doesn't have many tall buildings.
The hotel service was average. I don't know why, even though it was a double room, the room only had single-sized items. I even asked for extra slippers, but they weren't delivered until I checked out. It was truly frustrating.
By the way, the tea bags on the table are their local specialty, perfect for dipping with fruit (which is included with breakfast).
