Service and location are strengths of this hotel. However, room and corridor are not cleaned well. Facilities require renovation.

Staffs were kind and responsive, the place was perfect, near to downtown, shopping center, tourist spot and metro etc.

Not a bad hotel with a good location near the pedestrian street. Breakfasts are excellent, tasty with a good choice. The only minus is that the pool could be cleaner (compare with other hotels).

1. First of all, I was given a king-size bed room. I was on a business trip with two men, and I had originally booked a twin bed. It was past 11 o'clock in the evening, and I was asked to wait for an hour. At one point, they said they would add a sofa bed, and then they said that other rooms were not cleaned. The service can only be said to be no. 2. The facilities are old. There is only one main switch in the room. It cannot be turned on after turning off other lights. The decoration is also very old. 3. The room was not cleaned the next day. I waited for a long time to send a bottle of water when I came back at night. I urged twice. 4. The luggage was stored here. I went out to do business. When I came back to get the luggage, I called the concierge for a long time but no one answered. Finally, they said that the luggage room was locked and could not be opened. After waiting for half an hour, the very reluctant front desk took the key to open the door and get my luggage. The worst experience. The location is okay, but the service and facilities are not up to par, and it is expensive.

Breakfast is good. There are many types to eat, such as rice, side dishes, boiled eggs, fried eggs.. bread, croissants, cakes, many kinds of fruit.

This is a very old hotel. I guess it was built by the former Soviet Union. The service is good, but it's a bit old and smelly. The bed is too soft. I don't feel comfortable staying in such a hotel for one thousand yuan. However, a decent hotel in Almaty costs more than two thousand. I decisively changed to a public apartment, which costs more than four hundred yuan a night and cooks my own meals.

The facilities are quite old, but they are much better than hotels of the same level in Almaty. The hotel swimming pool is as big as a domestic hot spring bath.
