Excellent booking and living experience! It can use the bathtub to relax my body. Even though the assistant do not speak English, they always keep clam and be willing to help me, on one side for enjoying my breakfast , the other for my needing a taxi to train station. Finally, Almaty is a picturesque and hospitality city for traveling. Thanks 😊
First of all, the location of the hotel is very close to the airport, about 7 or 8 kilometers away, and it takes more than 10 minutes by taxi. I stayed here for two nights, mainly because I had to catch a flight. The service attitude is OK. The room is not very big, and it is OK for me to live alone. It can't be compared with domestic hotels, but it is much larger than Japan. The area of the hotels here is not very large, just the feeling of being able to live. They are all very clean. The deepest impression of Almaty is that it is clean, fragrant, and the environment is very comfortable. The price of the hotel includes meals for one night, and I don't have time to eat. If it is not included for one night, I have to pay extra for it, hahahaha. The breakfast is a set meal, with three options. Coffee is brewed manually. Because Almaty is convenient and cheap to take a taxi, it is also convenient to live in the city. The cost performance is relatively high.
All the beauties at the front desk are the best of their beauties, their heartbeats rise instantly and the service is very good, with a smile still in honorific words when you walk by. The bathroom in the room was clean and there was no water droplets. The restaurant in the hotel is also cheaper. In the city center, the waiters and management of the restaurant are also very friendly and thoughtful compared to the foreigners with cold hands on the street. The only disadvantage of being a budget boutique hotel is that the building has only five or six floors, with mountain views.

Our stay at Ritz-Carlton Almaty was exceptional, in fact our fav part of the city as tourists. The best part was the warm service from the staff, in particular thanks to Yekaterina (Kate), Malika, and concierge lady. Kate was welcoming and
informative upon check in. Guest service staff Malika gave us attentive care throughout our stay and accommodated our preferences, which truly enhanced our experience in the country. Concierge lady gave us comprehensive advice on where to visit.
The view from both our room and the Sky Lounge was unparalleled. Snow-capped mountains framed the landscape, offering a mesmerizing backdrop that undoubtedly ranks among the best in Almaty.
Will definitely come back here if we’re back in the city.
We had great time at Tenir Eco. At first, im a bit worried as im unsure how to go up and bring luggages direct from airport since we arrived direct from istanbul trip. But actually its quite easy. The hotel arranged to bring luggages up to hotel with payment of 5000 tenge(from shymbulak station to hotel reception). U have a choice to bring it yourslef but mind you that it is quite slippery from combi 2 to reception. So if u want to enjoy the moment just ask the hotel to bring the luggage for u.
The hotel will give QR code for cable car ride from Medeu station to combi 1-combi 2 and back down. If u want more can ask them to buy for you. Around 4000 tenge.
The hospitality is amazing , they provided all the necessity. And fast action too. They fixed the netflix so we could enjoy our 2nights stay. And although -12celcius was a challenge but the room got quite nice heat ‘ and u can always heat urself in the bathroom sauna, even the floor was heated. So we never feel tortured with the weather.
Bring some food for dinner if u dont want to spend time going down too much. And u can heat it in sauna as well🙈. Host (ingkar) was a very nice person. He gave us two nice cheesecakes since netflix took time to be fixed.
We stayed in Room Tenir 10 which was the last end room with nice romantic vibe and view. There’s night skiing and the skiers sometimes stop and wave to us while we watch them pass by. We also hike to nearby mountain and enjoy the scenery. It is super cold during winter and like a dream come true stay for us.
As per going back you can request them to bring down luggage as well with same 5000 tenge tilk symbulak station. The food at syn32 also yummy n good. Go try the blueberry mint tea with mountain view. Its amazing. U can ski in ski out from the room itself. Sunset is perfect as well. I will return again in future. Perfect stay in Shymbulak 3200m…. Never regret it.
And may try the paragliding as well. Looks fun too!

The room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with variety of food choice. The location was very good, most of the sightseeing spots were within walking distance.
The room is quite big, but the corridors on both sides are very noisy, the bathroom is very musty, the bed cover is very soapy, the mattress is uncomfortable
The front desk lady is very good, help find the bus
The restaurant is large, the breakfast is not particularly large but complete, very delicious
This hotel is not far from the city but the traffic is not very convenient. Travel is not recommended to live here.

Perfect
DDaniilMy stay at MuTu hotel was absolutely fantastic! The interior design is modern yet cozy with beautiful attention to detail. The living space features comfortable purple sofas and elegant sheer curtains that let in plenty of natural light. The dining area is stunning with a large dining table, stylish chairs, and thoughtful plant decorations that add a touch of nature indoors.
What really impressed me was the kitchen - it has gorgeous colorful mosaic tile backsplash that gives a vibrant personality to the space, contrasting beautifully with the two-tone cabinetry (dark and wood finish). Everything was immaculately clean and well-organized.
The staircase area with its contrasting dark and white railings shows the careful design elements throughout the property. The light pink/beige walls create a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout.
The owner is an incredibly kind Chinese gentleman who goes above and beyond to assist guests with anything they might need. His hospitality made the stay even more special.
If you're looking for a beautifully designed, comfortable place with excellent service, MuTu hotel is definitely worth booking!
KKirillVery small room actually.Looks definitely less then 25 m2
And the real size of the QUEEN BED IS LESS THEN 1.8m and it was 1.5.The bad was uncomfortable and the linen was not soft.
Every day we need to ask 1 more overall for bathroom cuz everyday we has only one in my room. And the same story with teeth brush. The room was booked for 2 by the way.
Staff is actually good and pleasant!
The main disadvantage is SMALL BED and small room-very tine for two people (we are about 170 cm tall).
The breakfast is nice.
Actually this hotel is overpriced for that kind of room provided
MMr. Alex2045Excellent location, first class service at this well established hotel, with a long tradition formerly managed by the hero who in his younger years put the victory flag over Reichstag in Berlin.
This hotel is modern renovated and decorated to s high standard, esthetically and technically. Heating works like a clock, andvroom have s balcony with nice views, with no traffic noise. Nice breakfast too
There are Whoosh Jet and Yandex scooters, cable car, parks, pedestrian street, subway all within walking distance.
HHAICHAOForeigners staying in Kazakhstan for more than five days need to register with the local immigration office, but the hotel does not help with the registration. It can only find visa personnel to handle it, which is a bit inconvenient.
DDeepanjanSubject: Excellent Location, but Overpriced and Outdated Rooms
I stayed at Hotel Kazakhstan in Almaty for more than 10 days, drawn initially by its prime location. The hotel’s location is indeed its biggest strength—bang on the main road with excellent accessibility to various parts of the city, making it convenient for travelers.
The property itself is a heritage hotel, and while it has its charm, the overall experience was mixed. The hotel is quite old, though the upkeep and concierge services were commendable. However, the parking facility was a major issue. During snowfall, it became extremely messy, and entering the hotel was quite challenging.
Regarding the rooms, my experience varied throughout the stay:
• The initial superior room booked online was decent, offering good space and facilities.
• The “supreme premium superior” room I opted for later was disappointing—it was smaller, with a worse layout and fewer amenities than the superior room, which was surprising and frustrating.
• For the last three days, I upgraded to a junior suite. While it offered more space, the layout and overall upkeep of the room felt outdated, leaving much to be desired.
A consistent issue across all three rooms was the drainage system in the washrooms, which was poorly maintained and created unnecessary inconvenience.
The breakfast provided as part of the stay had a wide selection and was good. However, the menu did not change for all nine days, which became monotonous for a longer stay. Room dining, though available, could be significantly improved in terms of quality and variety.
Overall, while the location of Hotel Kazakhstan is unbeatable and perfect for those who want to stay in the heart of the city, the property feels overpriced given the outdated facilities and lack of variety in services. I would only recommend it to travelers with a good budget who prioritize location and heritage charm over modern amenities.
NNorehanFrom my point of view, the Holiday Inn Express Almaty is truly exceptional. The accommodations are comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment for guests. The customer service is outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to meet guests' needs. The food offerings are diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes. The hotel's location provides breathtaking views of the surrounding area, adding to the overall experience. Additionally, Mr. Nurbek Dauitov, the front office manager, deserves special recognition for his exceptional assistance and dedication to ensuring guests have a memorable stay. His professionalism and helpfulness contribute significantly to the hotel's excellent reputation.
JJuzi·xianshengComplete facilities, clean environment, close to attractions, good front desk attitude, but there is no elevator, the space is a bit small, the price when I booked it was more than 350, the price is very high, my room also has a small balcony
GGuest UserGood afternoon.
The location of the hotel is far from the center, but close to the airport. At the same time, public transport stops are nearby. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby.
Gorgeous, tasty, powerful breakfast (varied, good and tasty products).
Not everything is perfect at the hotel (I’m not writing to complain, but to encourage the management to invest in new beds (ours creaked) and mattresses, and we will be happy to return to you), but the staff is trying very hard. The staff is friendly, polite, pleasant, helpful, and answered “yes” to all our requests.
The hotel has an excellent sauna, you can fry yourself to the very bones, a swimming pool with cool water, a gym, and it’s all free.
Cleaned every day, water, toiletries, towels, new sheets, etc. provided every day.
Good luck and prosperity to you!
AAlvenAiThe hotel is located in the center of Almaty. There is a big shopping mall opposite the hotel, which is very convenient for eating. The hotel is a little old, but it is cost-effective for this price range. I met several Chinese people.
