Excellent buffet breakfast (fresh fruit, various breads, vegetables, local cheeses, Anglo-Saxon breakfast options available) which can be enjoyed outdoors overlooking the magnificent trees of the Napoleon III Garden. Welcoming staff."

"Very nice hotel, and the luxury room we booked was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, but (in my opinion) mislead us! We invested in a luxury room and were looking forward to our stay in the hotel inlcuding the advertised excellent breakfast and an enjoyable evening meal. When we arrived, however, we were told we couldn't book a table in the restaurant that evening. Very, very disappointing! Why hadn't the hotel asked us if we wanted a table in the restaurant when we booked. We were told rain was forecast for the evening, which meant that the outside part of the restaurant would not open that evening. It did not rain that evening, and it was obvious that with only two front-of-house staff in the restaurant, the real reason bookings were unavailable was because it was understaffed. The breakfast didn't live up to expectations either unfortunately."

"I’ve visited the “Les maîtres sonneurs” with my mother father and sister. We have spent a week at a camping and at the way back home we spent a night at the Les maîtres sonneurs. we arrived there at 10 o’clock in the evening and got welcomed by a heartwarming man, he told great stories about his painting career while bringing us to the apartment, when we got there he showed us around and it was so lovely. At the ground floor there was a 2 persons bed, kitchen and an eating table, that’s where my parents slept. Me and my sister slept on the first floor there was a 2 and 1 persons bed, I slept on the one persons bed and there was a tv at the feet end of the bed, further more there where was a restroom with a toilet a shower and a sink. After a good night of sleep we had a great breakfast with jam and cakes both homemade, there was also bread and to drink there was thee, koffie, hot chocolade, orange juice and apple juice We had a great experience. I recommend everybody who’s reading this to go try it, and thank you for the great experience!"

"The room was clean and had a beautiful arched window but the air con was useless and as there was a heat wave this made the stay very uncomfortable. Additionally, they were unable to provide ice cubes which seemed bizarre given their star rating. Finally, confusion over pricing. 18 euros for breakfast and 9 euros for parking but room directory says 13 and 6. Updating a room directory is hardly difficult. So service needs to be improved."

"We were walk in customers from England. Made to feel very welcome indeed. Food was simply incredible and unexpected if I’m honest. Pork rib slow cooked was divine. A lovely lovely find. English is not really spoken so try hard! The staff are friendly and try to help. The wine menu is astonishing so if you’re a wine buff this should certainly be on you itinerary. You walk over the glass roofed cellar on your way in."

"Feels like this was a tired hotel and had seen better days when it was on the main route from Paris to Med! Room was functional and quite tired Pictures give a sense of a much better place. Restaurant food was of good quality but not very inventive (although there was a La Reunion themed menu as the owners are from there - a little odd?) Staff and service was acceptable It was ok for a 1 night stay on way back to ferry but no more than that. Not really a place for a family"

The hosts were very friendly, helpful and provided us with a welcoming glass of wine when we arrived. The breakfast included freshly boiled eggs and locally sourced products. My wife and I enjoyed walking around the local rural district. This is a great place to use as a stop-over as you travel across France."
