I stayed at a hotel in Alkmaar, and it was a great experience. The facilities were excellent, the location was convenient, and the breakfast was decent. Overall, a solid choice.

Dated. Old-fashioned. Sagging bed mattresses. Squeaky bed springs. Old thick pillows. No smart TV. Ugly view, staff friendly but not warm. After about two nights we were exhausted. Never again. Price quality below average. Needs total renovation.

Good location / neat bathroom / no air conditioning / small fan / high windows so you can't see much when you are sitting / 17.50 to park your car for a few hours / breakfast was ok but nothing special and automatic coffee.

Very good, business trip

Well located, quiet and clean hotel near Alkmaar city center. Breakfast buffet was sufficient and the freshly baked bread was a dream. There are enough parking spaces nearby, even if you haven't booked a hotel parking space. City center easily accessible on foot. Mattress good. The seaside resort of Egmond aan Zee is 11km away and can be reached in 10 minutes by car.
