My flight was overbooked so I arrived here by “accident “ until I could get a flight the next day. The staff are super friendly and the hotel is clean and nice with spacious rooms. The best bit…….the food!! Wow, the chef is very talented. I had the best meal I had had since arriving in Malaga. Absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend. Amazing 🤩

We stayed at Cortijo Chico because we had an EARLY departure from Malaga airport and wanted a quiet place to stay. I was surprised by how nice (and quiet, for being so close to an airport) the hotel is. The staff made us feel very welcome and valued, which was a really pleasant experience. Specifically, I'd like to point our the receptionist who helped us check-in: she gave us great advice and information. Sadly, I don't remember her name, but she was super! I have only positive things to say about our stay. The room was very clean and modern, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. (I think the hotel is new.) One of the best aspects of Cortijo Chico is free parking! It is only a 10-minute drive from the airport, and for that reason alone, I think we will stay there again. We didn't have the chance to try the restaurant or bar, but the menu looked good and the prices seemed reasonable for a hotel. If you want a quiet stay near the airport without the hassle of being near an airport, Cortijo Chico is the place to stay!

Excellent restaurant. Paid for half board but had to pay extra for evening meal. Not told this beforehand

Very disappointed in this hotel and the mold that was identified all over the bathroom sink and tub. I went to the front desk and showed pictures and asked for a change of room, they were not able to accommodate and offered a smaller downgraded room from what we paid for. In addition, when we pulled back the window curtain, our view looked onto a brick wall and industrial air conditioning units. We explained to the desk we booked a triple room, even with just my husband and I to get a larger room. We asked to be compensated for the issues and were told that they would get back to us, that was 3 weeks ago. I haven't ever written a hotel review prior to this but wanted to warn travelers who wanted a quick stop nearby the airport as we did, this was a huge mistake. Absolutely awful and so glad we were only there for a few hours before a very early flight!

A little out of the way but a hidden gem
Was just an overnight stop over at the airport and wanted something close by.
It's a little isolated but don't let that put you off.
Super enjoyed the room and the breakfast and staff were amazing.
If you are spending time in Malaga I would recommend stopping more central but if you want a good priced hotel with amazing service I would definitely give this place a look

This hotel was fantastic value for money. The reception staff were helpful, polite and friendly. We ate in the restaurant with high quality food prepared quickly and presented beautifully. ( Take cash if you want to leave a tip though!)

Staff are great. Quite clean and fairly new feeling overall. Restaurant food was great.
White caulk around tub needs re-doing as black mould quite obvious in spots. No coffee maker in room. Everything else in the room is quite good. Wished the room was a little larger.

Good place for what we needed it for (1 night). Somehow far from airport but hotel arranged for taxi pickup. Area around is a little sketchy.
All together convenient place to spend a night.
