The hotel is not far from the scenic spots in the Peak District, about 30 minutes by car. The car can be parked directly at the door of the room. The hotel breakfast and dinner are delicious, and the staff are also very enthusiastic. The only thing is that the blower in the bathroom is a bit loud. You need to turn off the bathroom light when you go to bed at night. The light control is integrated with the blower. Mineral water and milk are provided. There are also vegetables in the dinner, which is rare in the UK.

What a find !! From the first Welcome to the last good bye the staff could not be praised enough. The room was excellent -clean ,tidy ,and a good sized bathroom for two people.The view and balcony was the finishing touch to make a lovely stay .The Breakfast and evening meal at the White Horse were excellent . If you are looking to stay in this area don't look anywhere else.

wow what a truly wonderful place so pleased we found this. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The suites are superb with everything on our checklist of needs. The views are to die for and the restaurant is excellent - great food and plentiful portions. Lots of free parking and a great location for access to the sights and attractions of the Peak District. we will certainly return

Excellent rooms, clean, spacious and modern. Loved sitting out in the decking with a glass or two. Lovely staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Delicious food. The pub has a nice friendly atmosphere. I would recommend to others and will visit again.

The View was a wonderful find. Our room was spacious and clean with facilities that you would expect in a top notch hotel. It was great to sit on the private patio and look out across the countryside. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food was good with a varied choice of breakfast items.
