Hotel Pentagon South
"The location was good for moving to several places. The hostel is clean nice and friendly."
The Westin Alexandria Old Town
"This hotel is located near the Alexandria City Hall and courthouse, offering a quiet retreat in a very safe area. While it's a Westin, it's noticeably a step down in quality compared to Westin hotels in China. The front desk manager was incredibly nice and helped us out a lot. Breakfast is à la carte and quite delicious. The room's facilities are a bit dated overall, especially the noticeable sound of water valves from other rooms. However, the bedding was incredibly comfortable!"
Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria
"The room was nice, and there was plenty of coffee. There's also a restaurant right downstairs. With easy access to the Yellow and Blue subway lines, it's super convenient for getting to attractions and the airport. It's also perfect for exploring the Old Town and enjoying a variety of local cuisine. Highly recommended!"
Extended Stay America Suites - Washington, DC - Alexandria - Eisenhower Ave
"Location was great for it being close to DC. Went there to enjoy what DC activities had to offer and it was a decent hotel for the amnesties. A bit pricey though"
Holiday Inn ALEXANDRIA - CARLYLE by IHG
"Very old Holiday Inn. When checking in, there were a lot of black people and refugees in the lobby. The room smelled moldy. The black people at the front desk were not very nice and patient. This is the worst hotel on this trip. It really affects the reputation of Holiday Inn."
Club Wyndham Old Town Alexandria
"Our stay at the Wyndham Resort in Alexandria was a mixed experience. While the room was acceptable, clean, and pleasant, the continuous sounds from the trains and metro were rather distracting. If the rooms are insulated for sound, then I'd be truly concerned if they weren't. Assuming they are insulated, the noise level is quite distracting. There isn't much to make this "resort" stand out. It's really just a nice hotel in Alexandria. It is conveniently located for walking or riding the tram and, as alluded to earlier, very near the metro/train station. My biggest negative, which applies to all Wyndham resorts we've stayed at, is the high-pressure tactics employed to try and get you to attend the "tour" to encourage you to buy into the timeshares. We agreed to attend a 30-minute session provided we were allowed a late checkout, only to find out the "late checkout" was 11 am (the same time as the "tour"). When asked if we could extend that checkout time, we were eventually allowed until 11:30, but that didn't help us at all because the tour was scheduled to go beyond 11:30 anyway. We still had to be packed and out before 11 to attend the "tour." And you can't skip the tour because you're charged a refundable reservation fee of $40, only refundable if you attend the event. Generally speaking, I'd say this "resort" is nothing more than a conveniently located hotel."

Hilton Alexandria Mark Center
"I took my child to visit school. This hotel is not far from the school, so I chose to stay in this hotel. The view from the hotel room is very good and the attitude of the front desk staff is also good."
Super 8 by Wyndham Alexandria/Washington D.C. Area
"Great stay and great customer service."
Days Inn by Wyndham Alexandria
"WiFi not working..Bre"
Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town South at Carlyle
"There are dishwashers, food waste disposers, microwaves, refrigerators and other kitchen appliances. Breakfast was okay. In addition, the sound insulation is very good. You can only see but not hear the small train passing by."
