The unit we stayed in was a home a way from home with all the mod cons with the luxury of high end apartments rooms were acceptionally spotless and presentation of the whole precinct gardens pools foyer staff and more what's going to bring myself and family and friends to come back as a long term holiday destisbtion. Super close to Alex surf club and ocean that's a treat in itself! Kids, what kids? With the facility itself don't really need to leave tennis courts basketball and bbq areas it's the bowling alley and the skate bowl that gave us memories we will continue to make whilst staying in the sunshine coast. Rhea and her team are always welcome with open arms and we didn't have to ask to much before all our needs were met this place gets a 5 star because it's location facilities internet apartments are under rated and the team here are just wonderful and makes our quality time a pleasant quiet when needed and lots to do so close to restaurants bars and the beach. The Mirage gives the best of both worlds, 1 block back from beach with ocean views with the added benefit of being off the main road so a super quiet stay. Accomodation is excellent we stayed in a 2 bedroom w/ocean views it was clean and well appointed. The activities are endless with beautiful pools, gardens, tennis court, basketball court and gym. The groundskeeper does a magnificent job keeping the place immaculate. Rhea and Brooke are top shelf hosts who we were nothing but impressed with. There are a lot of options on the Sunshine Coast but struggle to see anything which ticks as many boxes as The Mirage.

We stayed at the Mirage with our son, his wife and two children. The three bed apartment was perfect, with two bathrooms so well suited for multi-generational living. The apartment was well equipped, plentiful glasses and crockery as well as all you need for meal prep. The apartment was very clean as was the whole complex. The pools and pool area were immaculate and the gardens well maintained. The location is ideal, close enough for an easy walk to the beach but set back off the main road so it's nice and quiet. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by too. What made this place stand out was the fantastic communication from the Property Manager from booking through to check in and during our stay. This is clearly a property that is well managed and staffed by people who care. We would definitely recommend The Mirage.

Our 8 day stay at mirage Alexandra Headlands was perfect, great resort, super clean, stunning gardens, magnificent ocean views, pristine pools including spa, lap pool, kids pool with waterfall and a huge pool to accommodate all ages. Management staff were visible constantly and extremely friendly and helpful. The resort is modern and very well maintained, as there is a huge array of hotels on the Sunshine Coast, it’s hard to choose, you will not be disappointed here at the Mirage. Beautiful coast line beaches that a patrolled The location is a winner that’s for sure, walking distance to little convenience store if you run out of something, with really fresh sandwiches and prepared meals, 10 minute drive to multi story shopping complex, Mooloolaba shopping strip a 15 minute drive for great apparel shopping, girls you will love this! Alex surf club for meals all day, just a short stroll down the road. Found Th Alex Bar and Grill tonight, less than 5 minute walk great meals at very reasonable prices, right next to the Juan Fifty - multi award winning Mexican restaurant- amazing food and service. And got the best fresh seafood from Mooloolaba wharf 10 minutes down the road They also have freshly cooked seafood. Attending resort staff were all over the torrential rain last night that was dumping into the under ground carpark which is accessible with ease.

Holiday with everything & more. We checked in straight away even though we were super early. Apartment was spotless with everything we could have needed for our 10 night stay. The pool & facilities were incredible & proximity to beach was fabulous. On-site staff the best!

The Mirage is an excellent resort and is managed by Rhea who does an amazing job of making us feel welcome and at home during our stay! We have stayed several times at this resort and all apartments have been well presented and appointed to accommodate our needs. The resort has 3 beautiful pools, tennis court and basketball area, centrally located to Alex Surf Club, coffee shops and beach. Directly opposite is an awesome play area for kids. The resort is quiet, well presented and overall an excellent place to relax and enjoy its beautiful surroundings! Highly recommend !

The goods: The accommodation was tidy, the rooms were very big, and the location was excellent. This resort is very good value for money. Unfortunately as stated by many other reviews, this resort is more like a homestay, there appears to be a high number of permanent residents who are extremely entitled and rude. Do not dare talk on the balcony, park in an incorrect spot, or laugh. We caught the resident in tower 2, level 1 unit 8, peaking into our unit and we could see him continually spying on us having lunch on our balcony. He was very shocked when we approached him about his peeping activities.

Don’t stay here. It’s a moneymaking machine for the owners. This was a huge disappointment and we looked for another place to stay after seeing the apartment, but everything was booked. We ended up staying - and survived, but feel ripped off. The price and quality doesn’t match. The apartment was outdated, which isn’t a problem for us. But the apartment was disgusting! I ended up spending my holiday cleaning and the staff didn’t care. No “I’m sorry”, “what can we do” etc. Washer We are traveling for 2 months and I had to use the washer. I had to clean it first and bought several products to do so. It hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. They should buy a new machine, as I’m sure it’s still not clean. Vacuum The same with the vacuum. There was so much dirt and dust on the filter, which clearly showed it doesn’t get changed or cleaned. I had to clean the vacuum to be able to use it to clean the apartment. Curtains This is just not okay. They are filthy. And should have been changed several years ago. I had to vacuum them just to be able to sleep in the rooms. Dust Don’t stay here if you have asthma or dust allergies. There’s dust everywhere. I don’t even want to think about all the dirt in the carpet. I have removed a lot of dust and it made the air better, but had to live with the carpet. Kitchen Kitchen equipment is useless for cooking. We bought a frying pan etc. to be able to cook. Kitchen cabinets are falling apart. Potato chips (crisps) in the cabinets from other guests. Clearly wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. I was told by the staff that “it was cleaned 4 weeks ago”. Couch Don’t look in the couch. Just don’t. It’s really disgusting and hasn’t been cleaned for years. Stuff under beds and couch We found hair accessories, colors, ball pens, old tissues etc. Go have a look if you dare. Pool Really rough surface - probably to make sure it’s not slippery. Fine for a short stay, but it cut up several feet in our family during the stay. The area looks clean on the surface, but it could be better. Needs equipment to remove leaves etc. And really, I don’t trust the cleaning quality after seeing the apartment. Pool was heated, which was great. Pool rules are not enforced. During our stay guests had several pool parties with loudspeakers playing techno, hard metal etc. for everyone to enjoy - and drinks in the pool - taking up a lot of space in the area where kids can swim. Parking There’s a parking garage, it was fine. Although narrow spaces. Elevator There’s an elevator to the apartment. One day it was out of order. There was an “out of order”-sign on the ground floor, but no signs on the higher floors, which meant we were waiting for it until deciding to take the stairs (fire escape). A bit annoying, but fortunately the elevator was fixed quickly. All in all the area outside of the apartment is maintained to some degree, and is a lot better than the apartment itself. Recently stayed there for three weeks with my daughter and 2 grandies. Late check in details exacting especially after 20hrs flying. Excellent front office staff. Very clean rooms, gardens and pool areas. Cleaning and ground staff very friendly. Fantastic Manager Ria, provided correct advice on local markets, things to do and places to eat. We had a minor issue with our oven and it was rectified promptly and with constant communication. Another receptionist, who embarrassingly I forgot the name of, provided invaluable assistance with a transport issue and almost daily advice when approached by us. Numerous pools, tennis court, basketball area and BBQ areas to use. Cannot fault anything here.

Our stay at mirage was very pleasant. We found being off the main road was lovely & still very close to everything. We loved the views from 5 th floor & found the apartment to be of good size with everything we needed. The pool area was very clean & most inviting. Will definitely be back

Our extended family including 28 adults and 7 children had a group booking of 9 units. From booking to check in and throughout our stay we were welcomed and well looked after by the management team. The resort is in a great location and the facilities and rooms were lovely, well mantained, clean and well managed. Mirage Alexandra Headland is a great choice for a relaxing break in friendly environment.

Tidy accom and great location but rooms tired. Pool and grounds very well kept & friendly staff. Exterior has been renovated but room was in need of a revamp, however the pricing was great & reflected the condition. Beds were old and very uncomfortable. Perfect location for beach & nice dining all within a 5 min walk.

Did we get the short straw? We were in tower 3 on the top floor with ocean views, either side of other buildings. The outside amenities were a pleasure but our 2 bedroom apartment was tired, knocked about and in desperate need of some updating and painting. The bathroom floor needed a good scrub, the shower had an odour, the wifi was as far from ‘high speed’ as possible, and intermittent. Certainly not like any of the photos on the web site. The air con didn’t work until a staff member went out onto the balcony to the outside unit to turn on the power (never had that happen anywhere else). She told me she didn’t like air con anyway and to leave the door open even though there were no insect screens. On arrival I went to the key box as instructed by sms but there were no keys. I phoned and was told to wait 3 minutes. 20 minutes later a staff member turned up. We are regular visitors to Alexandra Headlands but will find accommodation somewhere else in the future.
