The room is bit old but clean, great location and the pool and spa are nice. The kids’ play room is old and bit messy, unfortunately the reception staff was not on site so when we need to contact the staff over the phone she sounded confused too😂

The resort was very clean and tidy. Has a lovely heated pool. Staff were very obliging and always smiling. Better once we changed rooms, with a view Straight accross the road from Surf Club

Got to the hotel, it was all clean and tidy. Amazing view from the balcony. Staff are very friendly on site. Only downfall is , i was on a business trip and always in and out of the hotel room.

We stayed two nights to take in the Melbourne cup and the beach vibe The Mandolin was in the perfect position for our purpose and delivered everything we wanted Privacy, beach view and access, close to shops and entertainment Getting the key was easy with clear instructions and the unit was clean and comfortable. We will happily stay again any time of the year.

12 years going back to this venue and as per every stay, it was an excellent enjoyable time spent with family. The management is very helpful and friendly, and the rooms have everything you need for the stay and are always very clean. The real advantage is its location in respect to coffee shops, restaurants and the Alex Surf Club, all in walking distance.

Staff go above and beyond - informative, helpful and friendly. Small details taken care of - easy check in; room air con on and music playing on arrival. Room clean and everything one needed is provided. Great facilities and ideal location.

We have been going to the mandolin for 5 years now. We find Tahlia on the desk so helpful Tina and John the caretakers so caring a pleasure to see them again The only thing missing in apartments…coffee machines much needed.
