Check in was quick and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean . Right on the highway, easy to spot and close to shopping and restaurants just down the road. . The sushi restaurant attached had terrific food . The Bento box was fantastic! Would definitely stay there again because of the friendly staff.

The moment we entered the room it has bed bugs and we traveled 2 hours from the island and it is very bad experience. We wasted gas and driving and had to return to the Nanaimo to get an another stay .. very bad has big bugs all over the. Bed

We were very pleasantly surprised!! Fantastic renovations of the room. Clean, safe and beds were so comfortable. Delicious Japanese restaurant on site. Great option for Port Alberni!

Although in the centre of the south of Vancouver island, Port Alberni really is a port. Vancouver Island is big, beautiful and quite remote, especially given that it's so close to the city of Vancouver.
The property is a fairly typical motel, clean and comfortable and designed for a car user. Which is just as well as while I did see some bus stops in town, i can't imagine how you would get there by public transport.
