Crowne Plaza SILICON VALLEY N - UNION CITY by IHG ★★★★
"A must-stay for business trips, with great hygiene."
Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge ★★★
"The hotel is located a bit far from downtown San Francisco but offers free shuttle buses to a nearby BART station, making it under an hour to reach downtown. The quiet neighborhood has a coastal walkway with Bay Bridge views. The property is somewhat aged, with fair breakfast options featuring fruit but limited variety. Rooms are spacious with bay views, though amenities must be requested from the front desk. The hotel is popular, especially with coach tours, leading to queues at peak times. Hilton Honors members can request two complimentary bottles of water."
Downtown Berkeley YMCA Hotel and Residence ★★
"The location is a bit hard to find, but the staff were very friendly. The guests were also very welcoming. Located in downtown Berkeley, it's conveniently located with easy access to parking and banks. There's also a free gym nearby, a fully equipped shared kitchen, and very clean shared bathrooms. For expensive San Francisco, this price is definitely worth it."
Sonesta Emeryville San Francisco Bay Bridge ★★★
"Really nice hotel and a good bargain for us. Right by the Bay Bridge to spare city expenses, but a mall with numerous food options right across the street. Trader Joes within walking distance. Really nice setup in the room. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Restaurant hotel and bar offered a pleasant array of drinks. I had a great chat with the bartender as the night wound down."
Hotel Shattuck Plaza ★★★★
"The room is small and facing the street which is very noisy. There was no service and the front desk staff had a very bad attitude (the male one with dark skin was even worse). Can't live here anymore!"
The Marina Inn on San Francisco Bay ★★★
"I was a nice room probably next time i want the bayview."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oakland - Hayward ★★★
"Room was clean, outside of building definitely needs a makeover. Had to wait 20 minutes to check in as the counter was left unattended. Will not use this site again."
DoubleTree by Hilton Livermore ★★★★
"Stayed here while in town for business. The location was very convenient for me with several local restaurants close by within walking distance and a short drive to downtown Livermore. The hotel itself was just ok. My room smelled kind of musty and the hotel was a little dated."
Hyatt Place Emeryville/San Francisco Bay Area ★★★
"Booked for 4 days but our was never cleaner except on the 2nd after some arguments. Although i was informed that it will cleaned every other day but it was 5pm on the second day and still no cleaner came until I asked the desk person who did not answer me patiently and nicely…"

Coral Reef Inn & Condo Suites
"I stayed at the coral reef or booked friends or family there in the 70s -2000’s and it’s always been a clean place, not fancy in any sense but a solid 3 star with a great location and a friendly staff. The location is the same but that is it. The place is filthy, rundown, with people fighting in the parking lot. It’s just a sad shell of what it was or still could be. You can’t even buy a cold drink, a snack, or get ice because they don’t even have a vending or ice machine. Avoid at all cost …"
Hampton Inn & Suites Oakland Airport-Alameda
"The room is very spacious. The facilities are in good conditions. Location is a bit far from the town but if you’re looking for a stay close to the airport, it will be fine."
Motel 6 Oakland, CA - Embarcadero
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dublin - Pleasanton
"Staff were super helpful. Room was excellent, I slept very well and felt comfortable. Quite reasonably priced."
Executive Inn & Suites Oakland
"Overall nice, a little dated, but nice view. They didn’t hold my ADA requested room but they upgraded me to a water view which was nice."
Hilton Garden Inn Livermore
"Family friendly, clean and great location! Staff was also friendly which added to a plus to our stay!"
Hampton Inn Livermore-East Bay
"It's a bit old-fashioned, but it's been renovated! The service is very good! The breakfast is also American-style, but very rich! There are hotels of various brands around! ! ! ! ! !"
Home2 Suites by Hilton Alameda Oakland Airport
"gym room closed when I arrived about 8pm"
Staybridge Suites NEWARK - FREMONT by IHG
"There were hairs in the bath towels, strange yellow stains on the pillows, and two ants caught on the bed. Especially the hairs in the bath towels, it was a nightmare, so disgusting that I couldn't even reopen it to take a picture. Never stay at this hotel again."
Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Oakland/Alameda
"It's not bad, but the vending machine was broken, which made buying things inconvenient. Also, it's a bit noisy on the side facing the road."
Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Livermore Wine Country
"The room is small...the soundproofing is very poor...the breakfast is average"
Claremont Resort & Club
"the best and nearest hotel to UC Berkeley"
Quality Inn & Suites Livermore Wine Country
"Very pleasant stay experience!"
Purple Orchid Resort & Spa
"We went for our 43rd wedding anniversary. They made us feel welcome and special. Surprised us with rose petals in our suite. Definitely a 10! Loved the peace and relaxation. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Massage and facial were awesome. Had breakfast and lunch by the pool too. Will definitely be back !!"
