Food and Dining: The food at the resort is often described as excellent, with a variety of options including a great breakfast buffet. However, some guests found certain dishes lacking in quality, and others felt the food was not up to 5-star standards at times.

But little by little, with every visit, Unico grew on me. Now… let’s just say Modelo and Corona are definitely better than Presidente, jajajaja. We’ve been to **Unico 20°87° many times**, and what keeps bringing us back isn’t just the food, rooms, or pools — it’s the people. They are the heart of the resort and the reason each trip becomes unforgettable. ### 2087 Grill * **Jazmin** — Always made our mornings special, remembering our names and where we liked to sit. * **Mary** — The Omelette Queen. * **Magali** — Omelette Queen #2 (because one is never enough). * **Astrid** — The best female server, always smiling and attentive. * **Alexis** — Had the bacon on the table before we even asked. * **Victor** — Consistently attentive and helpful. ### Mi Carisa * **Luis** — The best server by far. We missed him at Mura House, but change is good — his detail and care always stand out. ### Mura House * **Robert** — Made us not miss Luis, hahaha. He knew exactly how to recommend the right dishes. Even our friend who *doesn’t like sushi* said Mura House was his favorite meal of the week. ### Avec (new French restaurant) * **Jose** — Outstanding service both times we dined here. The food was excellent — just needed a touch more seasoning, but it’s brand new, and we’re sure it will only get better. ### Bars & Pools * **Anderson (HOF Pool)** — Absolute superstar and the maker of my “Puro Party Hangover,” hahaha. * **Fernando (Main Pool)** — My mistake was asking him to compete with Anderson . Had a blast here, even if some fellow HOF folks were a bit too serious. * **Oscar (HOF Pool)** — Held down the fort and always made sure we were taken care of. * **Luis (Quiet Pool OG)** — Never disappoints. Great to see him still in his spot after all these years — feels like coming home. ### Spa * **Karen** — The Massage Goddess. After two sessions, I never once thought about the cheaper beach options. * **Drucila** — My wife’s favorite. She swears she’ll never use another therapist if Drucila is available. ### Butlers * **Carlos & Eduardo** — The most respectful and professional duo who’ve truly become like family.
