Hotel El Dorado Seaside Suites

This is my second time visiting Eldorado seaside suites and it exceeded expectations. We had the best holiday and cannot wait to book again! The views, pools, beach, food, entertainment, staff and atmosphere is incredible! Instantly we felt at home and had so much fun and laughed so much. We were so pleased to see our favourite staff were still there and truly did make our holiday! Benjamin, Luana, Luis and Angel were the best entertainment staff and made us smile everyday. We had so much fun with these amazing people and made great friendships and memories throughout the holiday. It was amazing to see Abraham too who we met two years ago and made sure we were having a brilliant holiday. I honestly cannot praise these staff members enough! The food was incredible and really did have something for everyone!! The entertainment was superb and the shows really were incredible to watch. The facilities are incredible and there are so many different activities to take part in and pools to choose from. Everything was so clean. We felt so comfortable and at home immediately. We cannot wait to come again and make more memories. I would highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to everyone! Rhian and Alex.

The resort is nice and clean. The staff were amazing! Victor one of the golf cart drivers is amazing. The pool entertainment (all three) were amazing…had a great time! Make sure to ask for better liquor for your drinks are you get the cheap crap Our room was cleaned daily and fridge restocked. Room service was good and fast! Our swim out was perfect, we didn’t use it much. The only reason we won’t be back is this… All restaurants close down at a certain time (around 4 I believe) and you can’t find anything to eat till 5:30! Unless you order room service. The seaside market has a dress code in the evenings which is fine but it should apply to everyone. Men without sleeves are not allowed in but females with pretty much no clothes on can go in ‍♀️ We were turned away twice, once because the guys didn’t have sleeves and second because my daughter had a coverup on. This wasn’t a big deal for us but we had a group of 7 and they would not sit us together, only 6 people per table.

Having previously stayed at El Dorado Royale, we wanted to try the Seaside Suites resort to see how it compares. Whilst it is quieter and more intimate, ultimately I wish we had booked at the Royale instead. This hotel is lovely, it just wasn’t our favourite. It was difficult to ever get a space at the reserved restaurants or at a pool lounger, the wait times at the non-reservable restaurants was a little frustrating and we hated that one of the main entertainment areas was effectively surrounded by coaches and buses all of the time, as it’s located right in front of the new lobby area. Pros: service was amazing, the staff are the real stars here, the food was delicious (bar room service which was mostly really disappointing unless you get a quesadilla), the mini bar was stock regularly, the drinks were excellent and the hotel itself is super clean. The rooms are a little dated but super comfortable and clean. I loved that the balconies at the premium area came with a day bed (but I wish ours had been cleaned more frequently) Cons: more little niggles than any major issues. The hotel is lovely, but when you’re paying nearly £5k for two people for two weeks, you want to ensure it’s a phenomenal experience. We booked the Italian one night, only to turn up and be told they had no mention of our reservation. We confirmed it with the concierge and when I asked for a written confirmation, was told “it’s not needed.” However when the host was looking for our booking he asked for the written confirmation. Despite there being many empty tables, we were turned away. It was really frustrating and embarrassing, because it really wasn’t our fault. We only were able to eat at the pub once due to the wait times (1hr 40m at its longest) though one evening we were told the wait time was 40m and we were seated within 15m so sometimes it’s worth the wait. The restaurant system is a bit frustrating, mainly because it appears to be empty but you’re still not able to sit. We were looking forward to doing a candlelit beach dinner but the tables were so close to the entertainment and to people walking past on their way to the bar, it didn’t feel like the intimate spot and certainly not worth £200. Overall, this hotel is perfectly fine. Is it worth the money we paid? Not really. If you’re going for a week or so or a short trip I think you’ll have a fab time. We still enjoyed our time there but we won’t be rushing back at all. We love Mexico but I think now is the time to explore other hotel groups and resorts!

This place is a hidden gem I had such a fantastic relaxing birthday trip as a solo traveler this past weekend! Everyone I encountered was so kind, the staff was wonderful, and the property itself was absolutely stunning. My room was incredible. I loved being able to step right out into the swim-out pool! A special thank you to all the amazing guests I met at the bars who made me feel so welcomed and included. I did the Maroma beach/snorkel excursion. And got special birthday touches.

WE CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!! We just got back from our honeymoon, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was once in a lifetime. There was not one staff member that we met that wasn’t nice and didn’t do more than the bare minimum. They handled our bags from the moment we got there and brought them to the front when we left. They provided the best room service, conversations, and entertainment. The concierge was always so helpful and all the drivers and food service workers were wonderful. Seriously, we can’t recommend this place enough! 20/10!!!
