If you are looking for good attractions, be sure to go to the visitor center in the city, which recommended the restaurant to see the sunset (les Sanguinaires) and several museums that are free on Sundays!"

"My husband stayed here for a month many years ago at the age of 13 as a guest of the former owners who had a 13 year old son. He always wanted to return and take me. This hotel did not disappoint! This is a very special place. We stayed during the “shoulder season” in the second week of June before rates climb for the season. For a splurge, ask for room 19. The cozy room and bathroom with tub are nicely appointed. The star of the show is the terrace that looks out over the Mediterranean and has a sitting area and a bed (!) where you can lay and look out at the view. We enjoyed our breakfasts that included various sweet breads and croissants plus eggs, fresh fruit, granola and more. A dinner we had at the restaurant was very good but pricey. The service overall was excellent. We’d love to return someday!"

Very conveniently located, parking garage a plus. Very good breakfast each morning, many options including local chestnut cakes and honey. Bad smell at hotel entry near elevator should be eliminated. Leaving the door open as they do in the morning reduces smel, but does not eliminate the cause of the problem since it returns by the evening, when the door is closed."
