j'ai réservé pour une nuit. à mon arrivée pour le check in, le propriétaire pose des questions bizarres et d'ordre personnel en me demandant si je prévois de faire venir d'autres personnes??? il me demande de verser 250€ par carte bancaire mais il refuse ma carte prétextant que le nom inscrit sur la celle ci est différent de ma pièce d'identité. je lui explique que sur la carte c'est mon nom marital et sur ma pièce d'identité, mon nom de jeune fille, je lui montre ma carte vitale ou est inscrit mon nom marital et je lui propose de téléphoner à mon mari pour confirmer... MAIS IL REFUSE ET ME DEMANDE DE REPARTIR !!! . je lui demande un remboursement, mais il refuse en me disant que je dois voir ça avec trip.com !!! (alors que c'est lui qui refuse !!!) j'ai dû trouver en urgence un hotel pour la nuit . Ma réclamation sur Trip.com a été compliquée et avec beaucoup de persévérance j'ai réussi à récupérer 50€ (qui ne couvrent même pas la totalité de la réservation) j'aurais dû déposer une plainte au commissariat de police, mais déjà trop de temps et d'énergie perdue. LES PRATIQUES DE CE LOUEUR SONT ILLEGALES ET JE CONSEILLE VIVEMENT A TOUS D'EVITER TOUTE RESERVATIONS POUR SES LOGEMENTS !!!

An Adenture
We arrived by rental car. Suddenly gps told us to park (nothing) but found a local garage. We were shocked that we were not able to drive to front door to drop off our bags. This is located in area with no cars. At 76 and 78 we bumped our way 1/2 mile or so down a cobble stone road (leaving pushing up those same cobblestone roads) Also to our surprise we were on the second floor(in usa terms the third) with no elevator. We had to carry our bags up 3 flights of narrow stairs. Otherwise this hotel is very charming and Paul was fabulous about answering our calls. When we left he did come racing up to carry our bags down. One time we were locked in. He had a friend within 10 minutes come and unlock the door. One of the other tennants had sand on their key which blocked our key from going all the way in. This is not a place for the old of heart.

The property is in town on a quiet street. Within a 5-minute walk, there is a supermarket and the cours Mirabeau is a 10-minute walk. The most important attribute of the hotel is its owner, Paul. Paul takes great care of his guests. He is flexible and very accommodating to the needs of his guests. I stayed two times with a week-end in between and he kept my luggage for me and then put it in the room when it was time to check in. He also didn't accept the taxi driver's suggestion to walk a few streets to meet him, and instead told him that he could and needed to drive to the studio's door to pick me up. He was attentive to my needs and made sure that I was having a positive experience. Paul was the best!

I had 3 delightfully restful days in the Finonous Studios. The room was clean and well furnished for an extended stay. The location was perfect, as it’s just off a busy street, so easy to access everything but quiet. The manager, Paul was super helpful, from communicating with our taxi to helping with my luggage. Would have gladly stayed longer if I could!

The photos must be old. The garden was overgrown & uninviting. You had to move the fridge to get into it & it then blocked the entry door. There was nowhere to put luggage. The whole place was tiny and smelt old & unused.

Stayed for a week in beautiful Aix en Provence. The apartment is close to the main market square, and situated in the lively old town is close to everything.
The apartment has plenty of light and everything needed for a comfortable stay.
