"Hotel is perfect for what we needed it for, a few nights stop over in a clean modern hotel. The hotel staff are extremely friendly. We have stayed 2 years running now and the young guy at reception ( his name has escaped me) is a credit to your hotel. Rooms, beds and bathroom extremely clean Breakfast is minimal but we didn't go without anything. Coffee was nice and there was an ample amount of juices and water supplied. I genuinely could not complain about anything."

"Really disappointing. Car broke down in Calais, so we were stranded and had had no hope of getting there in time for our booking. Gave the hotel as much notice as possible (8 hours), and requested that they refund our room and breakfast but they refused. Needless to say we won't be booking there again and will tell the many travellers in our mototsports club to avoid aswell. Shame you couldn't be more sympathetic as you will now miss out on a lot of repeat business."

"We have eaten here 2 times for the evening, but have stayed elsewhere. The Weber guesthouse is exactly the kind of gastro that you are often looking for forgetting on the countryside in small places. The map is small and visual - I find it very good, since then I know that the things that are offered are fresh. On the first night I ordered the pot steak with fruit, there was rice and a pre-food salad. In addition to that I had a little too much soup on the table, the preparation and the taste were megalecker. Even of the many soups was nothing left, as I could use the rice bowl well for it. To the dessert I had still vanilla ice cream with sauce and chocolate. Very delicious - see photo! The service of the house, a little older lady, is top - never move around a speech and goes with her jokes to the guests. Maybe much. not everyone, I found it suitable and very typical for the gastro. The next night we were to be second and ordered Cordon Blue and Heftsteak with pepper frames. Also here we were not disappointed. Good portions and really good quality for a visually available budget. When we visit the ring next we will return here in any case! "Excellent service, good parking, good food and room size. The only down side is the potential danger of getting on to the main road leaving the hotel. Unfortunately we weren't offered a room with a balcony and Rhine view although the hotel didn't seem fully booked as I had expected having booked just a couple of days before arrival. The extra price would have been acceptable."

"We booked through *********** but seemed their system double booked us, ie booked 2 rooms rather than 1, Bethel Hotel Zum Weinberg showed absolutely no interest in what might have happened, instead simply saying you have 2 bookings, they are our cheapest rooms so you have to pay them both, even although on the same night…. *********** completely ignored us and the hotel staff would have been as well ignoring us, they simply took 2 payments and told us it was not possible to do anything. This is NOT the way to treat guests, especially if you don’t want negative reviews. They simply couldn’t care less and seemed happy they had one over us. Unfortunately *********** just turn the other way too. Terrible customer service."

"The hotel was very beautiful and the hotel was very beautiful. Breakfast could be a little broader. I got a heart attack in the hotel have taken my husband well and he got a night gift because he had to stay in the hotel longer than planned. We didn't have dinner in the hotel prices were quite high."

Hotel Rieder

"Good location and the bathroom was lovely, the floor in my room creaked a lot so I had to walk around the outside so as not to disturb other guests. There was an issue on night 1 when some noisy residents in another block that started around midnight, by 01:45 I had had enough and went to sort it myself. I informed the reception the following day as there were no staff on the premises once the kitchen/bar staff left around. I asked what should I have done in light of no staff and was told I could call the main hotel number and someone would pick up as they do an on call rota. The drinking area outside the entrance to the hotel was also a source of noise albeit once that was generally quite after 23:00 and it would depend on which side of the hotel your room was on. It was very warm during my stay but unfortunately no fans were available for guest use and although the rooms had great windows it was very hard to ventilate when there was no breeze outside. The pillows are far too soft, I asked for 2 extra and managed to fold them in two and by using all 3 pillows it was near to what one would expect for a UK guest. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all nice, the breakfast was nothing special and having only 1 small toaster was not really good enough to suit the number of guests. The car park at the rear was OK so long as guests were respectful on how they parked and they are additional parking a short distance down the street. In summary I don't think Hotel Rieder offered good value for money and I am sorry to say that I would not stay there again. I know they are plenty of positive reviews but I have reviewed as I found, single traveller wanting a decent night's sleep in a quite room."
