We stayed for 7 nights half board in a Seaview suite with garden. Overall we had a great experience and I definitely would return but there are just a few areas of refinement required for this to be a truly 5 star experience, and this is why I am only rating our stay as 4 out of 5. Firstly, the positives, and there are many... The location is stunning. It really does feel completely secluded and while not too far from the main town should you wish to walk or cycle there, it's location is perfect. Away from any crowds, feels private, quiet and wow, the views! Beautiful. I also loved the decor in the hotel. Our room was excellent. Plenty of space, enough storage for a week. Nice views and it felt private from guests next door thanks to the way the garden rooms are arranged. Bed was really comfortable and excellent shower. We also didn't hear much noise from the rooms next door so good sound proofing. Housekeeping staff were excellent, fresh water each day, coffee capsules, nice toiletries, and you can have your room serviced twice a day should you wish. I see that some reviewers have had trouble with the air conditioning but we got on fine with it set to 20 degrees when it was over 30 outside. The roof fan helps too. The in room decor was lovely too, and very much to our tastes. It felt modern yet with hints of Cretan vibes throughout. Excellent WiFi throughout the hotel and in the room. We really appreciated a late check out before our departure so while I realise that can't be guaranteed for all guests, it was really nice of the staff to sort this for us. The private beach was great and also the loungers on the rocks next to the beach were a great touch. Beautifully kept gardens. Great pool area and we never struggled to get a lounger. The beach bar and pool bar service was a little bit slow at times but otherwise good. A great selection of drinks and food available. We are never hungry during the day in this kind of heat so can't comment on the pool bar food but we enjoyed the smoothies and juices. We had an excellent meal in the Amar restaurant one night. This costs extra if you're staying half board but is worth it for the food and the views from the setting above the beach. The staff were excellent. The evening buffet in the main Mom restaurant was fantastic. So many wonderful healthy options available and also some beautiful sweet treats for dessert. Huge variety. I could have gladly just ate from the salad bar every night. It was amazing. There were also some special events on with olive oil tasting one evening and wine tasting another time. Nice touches, along with the entertainment most evenings. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic. Again, so many healthy options and a few naughty options too of course. Really can't fault it. I must also add that, although this is not a tiny boutique hotel, it's just the right size that it never felt too busy. Whether that was the pool, the beach, the outdoor gym, the breakfast buffet

A sophisticated, luxurious hotel. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff wonderfully helpful and warm. The bedroom was really comfortable, the private beach peaceful and the beach bar service really welcome. Quiet, close enough to walk to the vibrant town, a fantastic stay

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Peaceful, elegant, and relaxing – a perfect getaway with a friend! I stayed at Minos Palace with a close friend, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is adults-only, which adds to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The views over the bay are stunning, and the entire property feels calm and beautifully maintained. Our room was stylish and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the sea – perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. The pool area is gorgeous, with plenty of space and never too crowded. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with fresh ingredients and lots of variety. The staff were always friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the first moment. If you’re looking for a serene, elegant place to relax with a friend – with beautiful views, great food, and total calm – Minos Palace is an excellent choice.

Fantastic location, beautiful five stars resort with amazing staff. The food is delicious. Very nice minimalist design. Absolutely fabulous 360’ view on the sea.,Very unique beach with a lot private spots. Definitely come back next year

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The entire property is like a hidden paradise, surrounded by lush gardens filled with blooming flowers and fragrant herbs. Everywhere you look, there’s beauty — and the view of the sea is breathtaking from every corner of the hotel. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It was a true pleasure to wake up to the sound of the waves and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to please every taste. A special mention goes to the Amar restaurant — the staff there were exceptionally attentive, warm, and welcoming. Their service made each meal a truly enjoyable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!
