Beautiful place , friendly staff, clean rooms, nice swimming pools

We spent 5 nights at MaBella Corfu, and we can describe it as an excellent family holiday. Friendly and hardworking staff, an excellent location with activities for all ages, and varied, enjoyable food options. A waterpark for kids, multiple pools. The hotel engages evening entertainment like mini-discos, and convenient proximity to attractions or shopping. We had a positive family holiday experience by a great overall guest satisfaction, exceptional quality of staff, the quality of the amenities, and the resort's ability to create lasting, happy memories for families.

We have just returned from a weeklong stay at MarBella in Corfu. We had an excellent experience for the most part - of particular mention was the food. We’ve stayed in a few similar 5* all-inclusive resorts in Greece and the food at MarBella was by far the best. We also tried the Greek, French, and Asian a-la-carte restaurants plus the independent Tavera - all included within our package and each was really good. We ate breakfast in both the main buffet and the Kuzina - I’d recommend the latter if you want to sit outside - it was also quieter and had a good selection. If you want more hot breakfast options, the main restaurant might work better for you but it is busier and nosier at peak times. We booked a sea view room with a balcony and were given a spot in the Nafsika building down by the front of the resort. The room itself was fine and recently redecorated but the bathroom was clearly a little older. It was spotless and functional plus the aircon worked well. I’d call it a partial sea view because the hotel’s glass fence partly blocked our view. There was noise on some nights so we wore earplugs - sometimes from the people above, and sometimes from the echoing corridors in this part of the building. However given the layout of the resort, any room in one of the main buildings is likely to suffer from this - I’d suggest asking for one of the rooms in the refurbished blocks behind the pool area as these have external corridors. Service was great and the staff were very friendly. The QR code / parasol numbering system worked well as you can order on the app and have drinks and snacks delivered to your lounger. Snack food was very good but we did try some of the children’s menu items (nuggets and chips) and they were sometimes a bit cold on arrival. Restaurant service was consistently good. Cocktails were good - and like most resorts, better when ordered from the main hotel bar in the evening. Perhaps it’s just nicer in a real glass rather than plastic? The pool areas are all spacious and clean plus towels are readily available - we reserved loungers before breakfast and had no problems finding / keeping them through the day although it was September so perhaps starting to quieten down for the season. The beach is also nice and quiet. The water here is very deep because of the artificial decking but it does mean you avoid walking on the sharp pebbles found in this part of Corfu. We also made use of the free paddle boards - it’s meant to be 30mins for free but I didn’t see this enforced very strongly. The hotel also organised a free boat cruise at sunset one evening which included prosecco. Was a fun little trip out for an hour or so. I also used the hotel gym which is large and fairly well equipped for a resort fitness suite. There are classes but we didn’t join any as it was just too warm. We have just returned from a week at mar-Bella with our 3 year old daughter. We couldn’t fault this hotel for friendliness of staff, cleanliness and the facilities! Every aspect has been thought of for a toddler. Her highlight was definitely the nightly face painting! A couple of things to mention, we stayed in the myrto building in a sea view bungalow and would say you do get a little noise if there is entertainment at the beach bar but this doesn’t go on too late. There are lots of wasps around but this isn’t the hotel’s fault, there are plenty of wasp traps around and they aren’t too annoying if you cover your drinks. The app is a fab touch and means you can order drinks from your sunbed, book restaurants, see what’s on etc. The food and beverage options were outstanding, plenty of choice as well as a great variety and knowledge regarding gluten free options. We will 100% be returning.

This is the second year running we have used the kids club and Crèche at the Mar-Bella hotel. The staff in particular this year were fabulous, firstly with entertaining the children, but secondly with their communication and general customer service. You can book the kids club in advance before arriving in resort which is a really easy process. I felt the kids were in safe hands. They had a great time there was such a variety of different crafts and activities, so they were happy to go everyday

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at the Marbella hotel! After reading some recent negative reviews I felt obliged to review the hotel from our own personal experience and I can honestly wholeheartedly say I do not understand how anyone can find fault with this hotel. Upon arrival the check in desk were friendly and polite and very informative and the reception hosts even took us to our room! The food was fantastic in all of the a la carte restaurants, the buffet food was a little repetitive but that’s just buffets doesn’t make the food bad. The service overall from bar staff, restaurant staff and pool staff was exceptional and the teams here work so hard to provide a great customer experience. A particular special thanks to Cristina down at the deck bar who always went above and beyond where possible. It was always a pleasure to see her every lunch time. If I was to provide some constructive feedback it would be that they seemed a little under staffed in the buffet restaurant as sometimes you had to ask for drinks and plates were not cleared quickly! Did it affect our holiday no it didn’t!! The rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard and are spacious and bright. We had a sea view room which was fantastic and the balconies are huge! Pools were all warm, like others I purchased a thermal suit for my son which wasn’t needed once. The beach is so relaxing and clean and the water sports which can be used daily was a lovely touch and enjoyable experience. As other people have stated there are lots of children there having fun and I really don’t understand why you would choose a family hotel with a splash park if you don’t expect to see children there. But I do agree with other comments the hotel could perhaps take some steps to accommodate all guests so they have the option to have an adult only area. The grounds were extremely clean, the pool floors are cleaned daily. There were no cockroaches or stinky drains as some people claimed but everyone’s experiences are different however we certainly did not experience this. I do think some reviews have caused this hotel a huge injustice and not factually correct! If you are looking for a beautiful hotel with great food and drinks amazing beach and pools together with hardworking staff then do not hesitate to visit!
