Iberostar Waves Founty Beach -All Inclusive

very good. beautiful hotel. beautiful room. beautiful swimming pools. I like the meals very much.

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 days. Could not fault the hotel at all. Great food, great facilities, wonderful and attentive staff. Private beach was amazing and 10mins drive from the souk.

Just back from 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel, cannot complain about anything, the food was really nice, plenty to choose from, every part of the hotel was always clean,rooms are large and comfortable, thank you to our housemaid khadija elaabid who did an excellent job keeping our room so clean and tidy, entertainment group were very good, john- Paul ( oaty ) kept us laughing. Special thanks to RACHID in reception who was very helpful to us and our family nothing was to much for him,such a lovely person.

Just returned from 11 nights at the Iberostar Waves Founty Beach.......2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12. We had an amazing time, can't fault the hotel.....I think that people forget when they write reviews that you aren't staying in a hotel in Spain, it's maybe not going to be the same! We opted for a family room pool view....and it was well worth it! We were in room 1028, brilliant location for the pool, easy to get out to the pool and could leave the patio door unlocked which meant we could just pop in to use the facilities. One thing to note with the family rooms, the ones that are pool facing do not have a partition, so you are all in the 1 space. The rooms that don't have a pool view do have a partition but you could be overlooking the next hotel which was a building site as was being totally renovated. Rooms were very spacious, good water pressure in the shower...does come with a safe which you do have to pay for, think it was EUR3 per night, but worth it for the piece of mind! There was a lack of wardrobe space, lots of hangers but not many drawers for the things that didn't need to be hanged up. As previously mentioned on other reviews, the hotel do supply a glass water bottle and 2 glasses, this can be filled up at the water machines that are all along the corridors......I thought this was an excellent idea, saves on the plastic! The beach was massive, the hotel do offer an exclusive Iberostar area with sunbeds and parasols, access to the beach is easy via a gate that has a security guard on it.....if anyone is under the age of 18, the guard will not let you out unless you are with an adult......so if you are worried about this don't be. The hotel has 2 pools plus a small child pool which did at times get busy but I think this was because it was very small.......the other pools were deep in the middle but the depth was shown by markings on the outer wall so you could go in as far as you felt comfortable. Water wasn't too cold, just the normal initial shock of getting in but once you were in, it was fine and a nice relief when the sun was out! The weather in Agadir was really weird, some days we would wake up to mist/fog even damping in the air but normally within a couple of hours, the sun was out and it was boiling......don't be fooled though, you will still get burnt even if you think the sun is not out......there were a few pink people that had been caught out by this, one of them was me :( The food I thought was excellent, there was always lots of choice at all mealtimes, yes you could say it was repetitive but there was always something to eat......and the puddings were amazing, I certainly know that I had to many seeing as some of my clothes now don't fit as easy as they did before we left the UK! We didn't visit the Moroccan restaurant as the choice was very limited and much the same as what you could get in the main restaurant...... All the staff in the hotel are friendly, always say hello and will do anything to assi

Everything you want from a family holiday. Clean rooms, great food with loads of choice, amazing staff and brilliant location. There was plenty of space and beds by the pool and no need for the sunbed rush first thing in a morning. the hotel is right on the beach and in a great location to explore the local shops. The staff are truly amazing, all lovely, friendly and helpful. Special mention to the amazing Abdou in the main restaurant, superb at his job and a really lovely man. Top tips: Haggle every orange taxi, you'll get it half the price at least. We used them loads. Tip the staff, they are so lovely and look after you and really appreciate it. The service you get is second to none and they remember you for it. Book the seafood restaurant, it's amazing. The spa is a bit hidden away with an indoor pool, well worth a visit and the pool is open 12-2 for everyone and mostly empty! The eucalyptus steam room is brilliant. If you want champagne on all inclusive with your meal ask and tip well (50 or 100 Dirham). Visit the Souk (market) it's about 20-30 dirham in a taxi one way and huge and you can buy everything there. Jet Ski's on the beach are reasonable (Jet Sky the end hut have fixed prices and great staff)

I usually don't leave reviews, but this experience was so exceptional I wanted to write one. I have been in many Iberostars and most look very similar: rooms are great as always, everything is clean, it isn't noisy, food is fine (Even if the buffet becomes repetitive after a few days), the marrocan restaurant is also a try worth. But when I am goingt to an Iberostar I am already expecting all these points (It is still important that they are fulfilled). What really impressed me from this iberostar was the way the workers treated me since I arrived, I really felt better than home because they really cared about every need. Reception could solve any kind of issue, the animation team was amazing, they had great ideas for entertaining, they were open and friendly to everyone so I also had the chance to quickly get to know new people, and I am not talking in general about the team but of every single one if them, what made me feel a very HUMAN and social experience. Not only the entertainment team was great, usually they also take care of the show, but in this hotel there were a group of Brazilians specially hired for the occasion, they gave a great show and dancing classes for the ones interested. I'm talking from a unique experience, because a great team is not something you can always find or pay for and I felt like everyone was really enjoying that part of the hotel as much as I did.

Travelled as a family of 5, split across 2 rooms. This is an Impeccably clean hotel with great service from all staff and it’s a solid 4* hotel. Food choices were varied and good quality and the only thing slightly lacking is the quality of the cocktails, but don’t let that put you off. Overall, the vibe of the place was great, the staff were just awesome and it’s worth the money just for cake/donut hour around the pool!! The Pool areas are great but could sometimes be a battle for well placed sun loungers. The beach section is nice, but you do have to battle with local vendors even while in the separated section - they will literally throw goods at you and ask you to buy them. None of the minor negatives would stop me coming again though. We had a great time.
