"This hotel is really speechless🙄️, I was cheated the whole time!!! First of all, we checked in at chick in around 7:00 pm on November 26th, and then the man said that we had three reservations, but I only made one reservation on Ctrip, and then he said that since we had three reservations, the other two reservations were removed and they still said that they would charge a fee, so my classmate and I argued at the front desk that we only made one reservation. Then the man didn't say anything. What's more hateful is that we only drank two bottles of Coke + a bottle of champagne and two generations of nuts on the 28th and 29th, but they didn't distinguish right from wrong and didn't investigate, and just deducted money from me according to the daily full set of mini bar supplies. I found the Ctrip platform, and they went to the hotel to argue. I ******* marked the beer unopened in the photos sent back by the hotel, and it was fine, but the bill sent to me by the hotel also included the cost of beer, which was calculated according to the full daily mini bar consumption... The Ctrip platform is very active in solving this problem, and they reimbursed me half of the cost. (Pictures 4 to 7), I marked the beer as unopened, but they still deducted money from my bill. I was so angry. I negotiated with them, but they just played dumb. Finally, they didn’t authorize my credit card without my consent, which led to the two subsequent deductions. "The place is located at the top of a small hill, not easy accessible. The atmosphere in the hotel is old style. The furniture is the same as the photos we can see in the stairs of the hotel that dated from the fifties. What is best is the modern next building spa and the hot swimming pool outside. This is very enjoyable. The service at the table is outstanding and the meals are excellent (bravo to the chef). A major drawback is the fact that we had to pay more than 8 Sfrs for the bottle of tap water for two people...The dining service is very slow in the evening. The rooms at the mountain side are small and very old. I was happy to leave after a few days. I could not stand anymore."

"Large room with mountain view for a good price, outside or inside parking space (not incl. in room rate). The receptionist wasn’t very friendly or helpful, and at no point did she mention any spa or gym… I only discovered the gym on one of her security screens when checking out! The restaurant was closed, only breakfast was available, and the waitress was nice. Everything works but is a bit outdated. You can hear your neighbours move and yawn in their room very well… It would be a nice 3*, but it’s not up to 4* expectations."

"The concept is exciting and suited us as a family well. You can't stay more centrally in Adelboden than on the village square. With the hiking passes we were able to explore all the mountains for free and enjoyed the many hiking opportunities. The kitchen is well equipped and there is just enough space in the room for four people. The underground car park in the basement and the food and shopping options on the ground floor and in the immediate vicinity round off the good offer. The fact that the problem of the jammed bathroom door is known (and is written on the door) but will not be fixed for another two months is a no-go (yes, our boys locked themselves in twice and we had to force the door open)."

"Breakfast consisted of poor quality products; single portion in plastic, limited selection and not renewed. Spacious and clean room despite outdated equipment and broken blinds. The bedding was okay, but worn. The staff was pleasant."

"Very nice hotel well maintained with helpfull and friendly staff. Hotel is close to the ski-lift in a very nice town. Not sure about the normal rooms but experienced a very nice renovated room. Food was great with a nice selection of wines. Didnt experience the spa area given no swimming pool but if you want a full experience, reco to book a spa in the Cambrian hotel."

"I sent a reservation request on Freedreams to them, they declined it, without reason. I double checked the availability of rooms on both of freedreams, and on the hotels own website, and they clearly have free rooms (both north facing and south facing) for my timeslot. Then I wrote a polite a request to check if my request was refused by mistake, but I got a short, kind of impolite answer, stating that they "have the right to decline". Very disappointing experience so far."
