"We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Revier in Adelboden. The hotel is immaculate, very clean, and ideally located right in the heart of the village, making it easy to get around on foot. The hotel is particularly well-designed, with practical amenities such as a car park with a lift, as well as ski and bike rooms that are very welcome for sports enthusiasts. The room, entirely paneled in wood, offers a warm and authentic atmosphere. The mountain views are simply magnificent and worth the trip alone. The grill restaurant on the ground floor is also a delightful surprise: the food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly, and the young and modern decor adds a lot of character to the place. In short, a hotel with an original concept, perfectly laid out and very pleasant, which we wholeheartedly recommend for a stay in Adelboden."

"If you want to book this hotel, I suggest you don't be a sucker. For more than 4,000 a night, you were given a basement to stay in. According to the pictures, I booked a room in the attic with stairs on Ctrip, but when I checked in, I was given a room similar to the basement. I showed the Ctrip booking information to the front desk and was told that the room type booked by Ctrip was different from the pictures on the Ctrip website. If you want to stay in the room type in the pictures, you need to pay an additional 100 Swiss francs on the spot. After contacting Ctrip customer service on the spot, the customer service said that they contacted the hotel and only needed to pay a price difference of 60 francs. I don't know why the quotation given to the guests is different from the quotation given to the customer service. And Ctrip said that the room type they booked was correct, but the information provided by the hotel was inaccurate. When I checked out the next day, I consulted the hotel manager, who clearly told me that the room type booked by Ctrip was not the room type in the picture, and wrote down the exact room type and her name. For the different price differences for upgrading the room type, the reason is that the exchange rate has been changing. I don't know what exchange rate can change by 40 francs in a few tens of minutes? Ctrip deceived consumers with fake room pictures. Ctrip and the hotel are playing the buck and taking consumers as suckers!"

"We stayed with our 3 children who were made to feel very welcome in this elegant property. They loved the spa and we loved not having to think about breakfast or dinner. The room was very comfortable and clean, the Mountain View was incredible and we enjoyed the balcony. The kids were provided with small robes and slippers which was lovely. The only improvement we would suggest is a small fridge in the room so we could keep supplies for lunch and milk for coffee. "

"The apartments are small but very well-equipped. You have everything you need in an apartment. The welcome basket provided upon arrival is a great touch! The beds are okay. They don't have slatted frames, but they're still fine. It's also very clean. Unfortunately, it's extremely noisy in the evenings! The whole family didn't sleep a wink the first night because we were given a room at the bar, even though I had specifically requested a room on the other side of the building. I even booked a larger room specifically so we could have one at the back. Unfortunately, this didn't work out at check-in, and we got the noisiest room. I reacted immediately at check-in, but they couldn't help me. On the second day, the manager came and immediately gave us a new room and refunded part of the money. That was excellent service. This could have been avoided if we had been given a room at the back from the beginning, as confirmed in writing. I also find it a shame that the electronic access does not allow for an individual check-in if a room is ready earlier."

"Large room with mountain view for a good price, outside or inside parking space (not incl. in room rate). The receptionist wasn’t very friendly or helpful, and at no point did she mention any spa or gym… I only discovered the gym on one of her security screens when checking out! The restaurant was closed, only breakfast was available, and the waitress was nice. Everything works but is a bit outdated. You can hear your neighbours move and yawn in their room very well… It would be a nice 3*, but it’s not up to 4* expectations."

"Breakfast consisted of poor quality products; single portion in plastic, limited selection and not renewed. Spacious and clean room despite outdated equipment and broken blinds. The bedding was okay, but worn. The staff was pleasant."

"This hotel is a real green, staff are kind amiably and efficient, feels like a family hotel, about 40 rooms, rooms nice and cozy, food outstanding, we booked the half board deal and have enjoyed each and every bite Amazing incredible views from the room Spa is really nice, in the hotel patio, has a jacuzzi operated by a token (5 CHF) last for 15 minutes emptied and sanitized after each use, wet and dry sauna An amazing experience!"

"Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Just round the corner from the main street of Adelboden which made it convenient for the bakeries and shops but nice and quiet in the evenings. Very nicely appointed rooms with balconies. all the water from the taps was drinkable which was helpful when having to fill up water bottles for the day. Restaurant food was delicious with 4 courses (portions weren't large but quite adequate). Breakfasts had hot and cold choices and plenty of variety. We were part of a walking group and made good use of the ski room to store wet boots etc. The whole area is so beautiful , especially the enormous waterfalls that you can see and hear from the rooms. A great base for a walking holiday and hope to return soon!"

"I have been going to the Hotel Alpina for ski holidays since I was a child and have loved it ever since. Now I have been there for the first time with my 7-month-old daughter and I was delighted again. Superbly equipped for children, very friendly staff, fantastic food/buffet, as well as a beautifully renovated dining room, comfortable, clean rooms, competent and courteous administration. Simply fantastic all round! I recommend the Hotel Alpina to all families (we have been there for years as an extended family with uncles, aunts, cousins ​​and grandparents) but also with friends or alone and as a couple, it offers everything you could wish for!
