Overall, it was a good experience. The reception staff was a bit rude. Room service was not satisfactory. It was overpriced. The AC was not working, and there was no ventilation.

On arrival at the hotel, having spoken to the person in front of me i was faced by a lady who obviously thought I was interrupting her personal time. Spoke so auietly I couldn’t hear her properly she asked several questions multiple times as if she couldn’t be bothered to listen to the answer. Gave me my room key and when I queried the room number as I couldn’t read it without my glasses on, she took several repeats of the question before I got the answer . Room when I found the lifts was lovely, great view of Cardiff. Spent a lovely comfortable night . I decided on check out to comment to the person on duty about the lack of welcome the night before but the reception desk was unmanned and despite waiting the person in the office made no attempt to see what I wanted, hence this review! Lack of welcome spoiled what would have been a lovely stay in a hotel that lists itself as luxury!

Had an absolute blast molly made our experience what a lovely woman :) we were welcomed from the start and had laughs with all the staff that we spoke to. Everyone is great!

£48 to park for 2 nights in their underground carpark after paying over £200 to stay for 2 nights, didn’t add that information on when booking did you!! Room was not reflected in the price!! Stained carpet’s, bath with a filthy shower curtain, house keeping had not been around when we went back at 3pm!! Towels like sandpaper, massive dip in the bed where they had put 2 singles together, undesirables hanging around out the front asking for money, only gave it 2 stars as the reception staff were good, been a while since we went to Cardiff and can’t believe how dirty the city has got, real shame, won’t be back anytime soon!!

I haven’t stayed at this hotel for years and it has gone down hill. Rooms are in need of some TLC, the pool is now chargeable to use and the food in the restaurant was not good
