They claim to upgrade you to a two-bedroom villa, but in reality, they are lying and give you the ready-to-use villas.
Then they tell you not to use the other room upstairs.
They give you an upgrade, but in reality, it's a downgrade to a lower level and there's no beach view.
The service is good, and they carry your bags.
Be careful of the price of the minibar, including food and nuts, as it's very expensive and is only clearly stated in very small print at the bottom of the drawers.

I had the pleasure of dining at Al Maya Island restaurant for three days, enjoying both breakfast and dinner, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service from our waiter was outstanding—always attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming. He consistently made sure everything was perfect, from timely service to thoughtful recommendations, which really elevated our dining experience. The food was always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, making every meal a highlight of our stay. The combination of excellent service and amazing food created a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend Al Maya Island restaurant and special thanks to the waiter for making our visit so enjoyable! We had such a wonderful experience at Al Maya Resort! The place is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. The food was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. A special thanks to Dhinesh for being so accommodating and attentive. His warm hospitality truly made our stay extra memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great service, amazing food, and a serene atmosphere!

I went with my husband for our anniversary, the place is amazing and clean , the experience of living in a heritage place but in modern way was a wonderful, even the food was tasty and delicious, the staff in the whole place are very friendly and respectful, for sure i will come back for almaya resorts
