I booked very last minute on Sunday due to an emergency, everything was smooth and fabulous, the host (sorry should have asked his name) was very patient and cooked excellent breakfast. It was a great experience, would recommend. Thank you

Bedroom was small and basic but suited us fine for the one night we stayed. Breakfast freshly cooked to order and was very nice. The guesthouse is very close to the seafront.

Had a lovely stay here. I opted for a single room with shared bathroom to keep cost down. Warm cosy room with comfy bed. Tea making facilities in room and a basin. Very affordable. Very close to the seafront - went to sleep listening to the sea - but cheaper than the seafront properties. Travelling on my own and felt perfectly safe here. Lovely breakfast with locally sourced meat and eggs. Several options including vegetarian and vegan. Will definitely be returning.

Filthy ! Carpets were dirty. Windows did not open. No tables available at breakfast. No staff members in the building. Threadbare bed linen. Dirty linen left in corridor. Could hear every one in other rooms so very little sleep. Needs a complete refurbishment.

Location was great, parking was shocking but eventually we did find somewhere. Pub just down the road and only a short walk from the centre. Atmosphere, quiet and close to the beach which was nice. The Hut on the prom was lovely. Lovely rooms but very cold. Beds were very uncomfortable and small for a double. Pillows were shocking as well. Breakfast was beautiful! I thought it was priced fairly for what it was. Just for someone who suffers with arthritis it was very cold.

Stayed for 1 night on Wednesday, 03rd September 2025. Booked in advance on the Booking com website for £81, which included breakfast for a double en-suite room. Arrived late afternoon and booking site details there is free parking, but this is just street parking and tbh its rammed around there. Once we found a space, we found both front doors open, which was useful but strange, as the reception was unmanned and our pack (including room and front door key) was just sitting on the said unmanned reception desk. This wasn't an accident, as there is a note to advise that this is what to expect. We made our way to the room (Prima, I believe) through a convoluted set of stairwells, which you get with these B&B house conversions, I find. The room was adequate, with IKEA furniture and a decent shower, though you had to collect shower gels from reception. The bed was comfortable, and tea/coffee-making facilities were nicely supplemented with biscuits. There was a free-standing lamp which had a floor switch, which was located under the writing table! In the morning, we went for breakfast and saw our first B&B representatives who waited on us and delivered a lovely cooked breakfast. No sweeteners available, bar standard sugar and coffee on the peculator was cold, but bar that it was fine. Overall, the experience was fine, but I wouldn't recommend staying for more than one night.
