We enjoyed our stay here, and the company of the baby seagull out front. Rooms were a little small if you are traveling with large luggage.

The guest house was perfect for me with location and how clean it was . Staff were very friendly and managed to check in a bit early as well . A very enjoyable holiday thank you .

We booked this accommodation 2 months in advance as we were moving our daughter into Aberystwyth University. They cancelled our booking just 3 days before we were due to arrive because apparently they are 'A Chanel Management System'??? and something went wrong? Every year they accommodate Student Nurses who require self catering services in the hospital and they are expected to rake their bookings??? SO WHY ADVERTISE AVAILABILITY???? This caused us quite a lot of additional stress that we didn't need on an already emotional occasion :-(

This was only booked a couple of days before arriving and looked Ok in the photos, but how old are they? We only needed a clean room and en-suite for our one night stay. Bed linen and bathroom were clean enough but it did nothing to cover up the age of the bathroom fittings and the furniture/ furnishings in the room and the rest of the guest house. Peeling paint, dirty marks on walls and draughty windows. Only good thing was the sea view from the window if you don’t mind sitting at a wobbly table and chairs. Didn’t attempt to draw curtains as only had a couple of curtain rings and looked as if we could create a dust storm, luckily we were two floors up. Don’t be fooled by the photos and the sea views.

Stayed at Celtic bay guest house. Very poor service and property. Holes in carpets and curtains. Very short staffed. Will be glad to leave. Fire alarm certificate was a year out of date also parking info also out of date. Would not recommend this place

Hotel average at best, but it was cheap so you get what you paid for. No lifts, shower in a closet, with carpet on the floor.
Staff extremely friendly helpful.
