Queensbridge Hotel

a tired hotel needing some redecorating and modernisation.  Room was next to reception and the 'bar/staff' room.  we were woken at 6.30 every morning by staff arriving for duty. Breakfast was sat under heated laps or freshly out of a tin of fruit. Toast was the thinnest cheapest brown bread, and the coffee was average. The cooked breakfast was of poor quality ingredients.  The waiting staff were very attentive. Sadly as soon as a fellow guest left their breakfast table, out came the spray disinfectant to clean the table down.  This smell wafted all over the basement, windowless breakfast room and was very off putting.

Nice hotel good location and sea view it great. Lovely attentive staff in the morning at Breakfast. Breakfast lukewarm and very greasy. We would stay again but have Breakfast out.

We chose this hotel for its location to the beach due to my disabilities. We arrived early morning and struggled for a parking space, the hotel advertises one but they send you to double yellow lined area and said 'oh you can park there it's free, noone checks', after almost an hour we luckily got a space and spent the day on the beach. At check in time we arrived to be told (like the couple ahead of us) that we had been moved to a sister hotel. We attempted to rectify this, with the Manager hanging up the phone to the inexperienced receptionist. Eventually contact was made and we had no choice but to move, being assured there would be a parking space on the carpark. Upon arrival at The Four Seasons, with it's tiny carpark for a max 5 vehicles we where rudely spoken to by a younger man on reception who said 'first come, first served'. We blocked the carpark and went to our ground floor easy accessible room, only issue no opening window in bathroom or ventilation. Shattered i lay for a sleep with earplugs, when I woke my friend said they'd been banging on the door 4 times to move our car but then managed to get around it without an issue. The whole check in incident ruined our lovely day, made us irritable as we where tired, completely unprofessional and rude, breakfast was meagre, would not trust to book again, and definitely not recommend, in fact I suggest they get some lessons in Management, Hospitality and Customer Care.

This hotel is not 5 star in photos but the cleanliness, food, location and especially the staff are. Loved our stay. Will stay again!

Very friendly staff. Comfy room. A small lift though to upper floors. If you are claustrophobic not great. I managed though. Only room for one. Otherwise a lovely place to stay on seafront. Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice. Self service including English breakfast. Enjoyed. Thank you.
