I was going to share a rave review - and that was before we'd tried their breakfasts. We love the place - and we were lucky to have the room in the photo, with a stunning second floor view of the sea, and out to both ends of South Beach too, Loved it - the smiling, helpful, friendly team - listening to waves hitting the shore - summer evenining views (on a blueish day) - comfy room and great curtains. Then a wow breakfast - frsh salad of melons, passion fruit and pineapple. Topped by perfect cooked breakfast. THANKS Glengower - we'll be back. And like this time, we'll book direct and not gift your well earned charge to *********** or ANO.

Just got back from staying at The Glen, and this was my second stay. I stayed in 2022 and particularly remembered the amazing breakfasts. This didn't disappoint. I had a lovely large, clean and comfortable room which had three windows overlooking the sea. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. There are only two things that would make this hotel even better. If the hotel had dedicated parking and if it had a lift, then I would give 5 out of 5.

The room was excellent, spotlessly clean with superb sea views and great for people watching. The breakfast and all the meals we had were fantastic and they offered a very good GF selection. The staff were always very friendly. It had a good real ale selection on the bar. We would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to go back

Mein Zimmer (Nr. 11) lag im 1. Stockwerk und war nur über die Treppe zu erreichen. Es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sauber und gepflegt. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Check-In erfolgt direkt an der Bar.Man erhält dort den Zimmerschlüssel. Ist die Bar geschlossen, kann man das Hotel über einen Seiteneingang mittels Transponder betreten. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut (sehr gute Würst).; man wählt aus einer Karte. Der Tisch wird dem Gast zugewiesen. Das Personal war bei meinem Aufenthalt stets freundlich und sympathisch. Wer abends vor Ort auch essen möchte, sollte zeitnah einen Tsch reservieren. Sonntags gibt es ab 18 Uhr kein Essen mehr. Das Hotel liegt in einer Sackgasse. An der North Road Clinic gibt es einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz. Dank der guten Ausstattung und der fantastischen Lage kann ich das Hotel empfehlen.

Stayed for one night to visit our daughter at Uni. Warm welcome on arrival, room was nice, albeit a bit small. The sea view more than made up for the size! Could’ve done with another pillow, if we were staying longer we would have asked for one. The only issue I had was there was a gap at the bottom of the door that let quite a bit of light from the main hallway in, I just put a towel to block the light (room 21). We booked a table in the restaurant, the food was lovely and the staff were exceptional. Breakfast the next morning was very good. All the staff we encountered were friendly and hospitable. We couldn’t find on street parking so ended up parking round the corner at north car park. 24hrs is £6.60. We will definitely stay at the Glengower again.
