We have visited this hotel with friends twice before. Loved it. This time we got a ridiculously small room, and on top it faced the street with lots of traffic noise from 5 am. The size meant that when you got out of bed and went towards the bathroom, at the end of the bed you had to bend down to get under the wall mounted TV. We asked for a better room – not possible. At departure we asked for a reduction of the prize – not possible. When we complained the answer was: “The room you get all depends on when you booked the room”. Which is a ridiculous answer, as we booked the room 3 months in advance, and had specified which room we wanted. Looking at other customers experiences, I suddenly agre with other customers: The breakfast is close to meager, compared to other hotels in that price range. So good bye to SOFS from excellent customers, who have always booked directly, saving the hotel the 20% fee to the international booking sites.

The bed cover was stained and the shower curtain should be longer to prevent spilling. But positive for the rest.

Loved the peaceful and friendly vibe in this hotel. Stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfast in the garden was my highlight. Would definitely go there again.

Wonderful little hotel in the centre of Aarhus and a great base to enjoy the city from We had a lovely en-suite with a bath which we enjoyed. We did feedback to the staff that it drained very slowly and up through the shower after we used it, which they assured us they would sort out. Very comfy bed and spacious room. Breakfast was a good variety of buffet food with options for myself being gluten free We would stay again.

God beliggenhed
Super god beliggenhed lige midt i latiner kvarteret. Værelset fint men lidt koldt da radiator ikke kunne skrues op, dejligt vi alle 4 kunne være på et værelse.

I visited this hotel whilst on a business trip for the week and have to say was really pleased with my stay here. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained, with a lovely courtyard area out the back to sit and relax with a book and a glass of wine. Additionally it is perfectly placed for exploring the Aarhus regions and local restaurants etc. I intend to return to Aarhus for a personal trip and will be coming back to this hotel again.

There is no elevator but that is not mentioned in any information. There is no one to help to bring luggage to the room; for two ninety year olds traveling for five weeks, I had to ask someone on the street to help me carry our two small suitcases up a curling staircase.
The “breakfast” was negligible, the poorest of any hotel at which we stayed in those five weeks.
The room was adequate and the staff was pleasant and helpful with suggestions and directions.
Parking is ten minutes away although limited street parking is available for loading/unloading luggage.

We were charmed by this small hotel. We'd rate it 5, but for two slight imperfections. One: the shower drain (room 15) was very slow; I worried about flooding the bathroom. Two: the pillows were completely inadequate, in that they were too small and too soft--but that's normal for Danish hotels. The breakfast room can get a tad crowded, but that is part of its charm, and the breakfast spread is nice. Try to book rooms that don't face the street; ours did, and at 6:10 am we were woken by trash pick-up.

Lovely little hotel in Aarhus, very convenient situated to reach all the man attractions. Rooms are very clean and bright and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is traditional continental with a wide range of bread, meat, fish and pastries. The team are very helpful and make you feel welcome. Ideal for people that like placers with character and enjoying their creature comforts.
