Daniel&Jacob's Urban Studios and Boutique Apartments

Quiet. A short walk distance to nearby mall and bus stops. A small kitchen and it is good!

We loved staying there. Modern industrial style with no visible staff. You get code that unlocks the front door and the room. Huge comfy bed, we slept for 12 hours the first night. The shared large kitchen has everything, stoves, ovens, fridge, freezer and coffee machine and a big bowl of coffee capsules. The apartments are in the University area, short distance to public transportation, grocery shops nearby and a huge mall. I highly recommend this apartments.

We stayed at Kings Garden 1 in August. The location is on the top floor of an office building, and it is obvious the unit was renovated from a previous office space. Their listing specifically boasts an elevator available to use for a 4th floor unit. When we arrived, the elevator was not working. When we entered the unit, the floors were still completely wet from mopping. The kitchen area is an afterthought, with lack of storage space and items such as a cutting board or drying rack. There is no AC so we left windows open to keep the apartment cool, but there is a LOT of noise at night. However, one night there was a party next door in Daniel & Jacobs adjacent apartment, Kings Garden 2, that lasted from 11pm through the next morning past 10am. We could not sleep all night due to the loud music and noise from the party. When we contacted their email reception, which they claim is the fastest way to receive a response in 30 minutes, we did not hear back for over 3 hours. Then, when I finally heard back, I was given a security phone number to call for a complaint instead and they would not provide any assistance. We never received any follow up until I asked, and found out they did kick out the neighboring guests in THEIR apartment. This took multiple back and forth emails. They were not apologetic and would not issue a partial refund for the terrible night we had. Absolutely terrible customer service given the price of their units. Do not stay in any of their units if you want any sort of hospitality.

Great new apartment but missing windows/fresh sir or aircondition. Area was under construction, very concrete with no outside space to sit. We stayed one night and left though we has payed for 3 nights.

Loved the accommodations. Very clean and roomy for Europe. Great self service luggage storage. I booked this because it’s close to Aarhus University. There is a mall within 10 minutes walking but not much else. My only not positive comment would be that there is no outlets by the beds. The two other than the one in the bathroom are in awkward spots. Keyless entry is easy and convenient.
