It faced the park, so it was quiet and nice. The shared kitchen was spacious and had a microwave, cooking utensils, and tableware. I also felt that the shared bathroom was well-used. It's a little far from the city center, but there's a supermarket nearby and a bus stop nearby, so it wasn't that inconvenient. I'd like to stay here again if I come to Auckland.

I stayed in a 4 people shared room. The room was comfortable with enough space to storage my backpacks. Each bed is in a pod which provides privacy.
There is a shared kitchen with anything you need to prepare a meal, however it can get quite busy.
Location is okay, you need to walk about 10 to 15 min to get to the center and a bit more to get to the shore.

The location is excellent. Turn right at the door and you will reach the bus stop. It takes less than a minute to walk. There are numerous bus routes to the urban train station with frequent buses.
The room is clean and tidy. There is a cloth next to the bed covering the entire bed. It has good privacy and improves personal privacy.
There is a kitchen in the dormitory for personal cooking, and pots and pans are provided.
The reception staff at the counter are friendly and answer all your questions.

It's quite far from the CBD and the entrance is a staircase, so it's inconvenient to have a large suitcase. It is helpful to have a locker with a key individually. Also, it was helpful to be able to use the kitchen for 24 hours. I stayed at 3 in the backer, but this was the best.

The room is clean and tidy, the staff can speak Chinese, and communication is easy. The most important thing is that you can cook, and the kitchen utensils and gas are all included. I am not used to eating out, so I can just buy some ingredients and cook them when I come back. The overall experience is great, I am very satisfied!

An excellent hostel located in a strategic location. Parking available for additional cost and they do have everything available for a backpacker. Good for long stay as well. Near and clean washrooms, dining area, you have everything you need.

We had a delay in our flight and arrived in unmanned hours unfortunately our internet wasn’t working and didn’t have the email with the lock box instructions. James the receptionist was leaving and saw us. He was very kind and helpful staying to help even though his shift had finished.
The hostel needs some updating and a lock of paint but overall pretty good, comfy bed, hot shower. Can’t complain.
I did miss the bit about taking sheets off and leaving them downstairs after dropping my key in the drop box - sorry.

DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!

The location of the hotel is very good, just at the seaside of Half Moon Bay, a few steps away from the door to see the pier full of private yachts. Supermarkets and restaurants are also nearby, and the walking distance is only 20-30 meters.
