The reception staff is warm, the health is very good, the surrounding is quiet, the snacks in the store are self-paying, there are free coffee and snacks, the surrounding residential areas, and there are many safe food shops around. Most of the foreigners staying can be accompanied.
Great place, wish I would of been able to stay there a few more days. Right close to the walkway. Easy getting to and from downtown. The women there are very helpful. Just explained were I was trying to go and they helped me with the buses.
The dorm was quite tricky to find on the sidewalk, walking from JR Kanazawa station, the sign was on a wall behind me, in the walkway leading into the building it was. One should look out to the left once you’ve reached the building.
There were no staff when I checked in late at night around 10pm, but I received an email beforehand detailing the guest forms I should fill up and some other information. Once I arrived, there were other clear instructions about my bunk, luggage storage and house rules. The entry area had several books and leaflets about the area and a map indicating eateries and sightseeing locations recommended by staff, a useful touch. Some of it were in English too.
The bunk was perfectly acceptable for a quick night sleep. The bed was wide and had lockable lockers to the side. Refreshments like drinks, snacks and noodles were also available for a small fee and payment was done via a tin box. Overall, very good value for money and it provided an opportunity to chat with other travellers staying by there. I chatted with someone from Taiwan and a local working at Kanazawa station’s tourist information centre. He was snowed in for the night and it’s worth noting that, it would be a struggle to haul luggage through heavy snow on the way to the property.

At first, we couldn't find the accommodation because the snow blocked the entrance. We got experience in climbing the snow to get to the accommodation. The owner is very cute and provides excellent service. I am very impressed. I would recommend it.

SSharon JoyIt’s easy to find. From Kanazawa Station hop on a bus at Bay 10 the alight at the 2nd stop at Ohmicho Market then cross the street, walk for a minute or two. There’s a nearby Starbucks, Lawson and 7/11. About 12 minutes walk to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. Rooms are clean and I like it that they offer free skincare at the restrooms. I mean ladies are vain, it’s a good thing they pay attention to that. The staff are nice. It’s a capsule accommodation. They keep everything clean. So you don’t have to worry after an exhausting day, you’ll be welcome by a clean bed. A good tip, get the Kanazawa Loop Bus for only 800yen. You can hop the bus to go around Kanazawa Tourist. A value for money since the fare is about 210 yen just 1 way. The IC card don’t work on buses in Kanazawa. Either you pay in cash or credit cards
GGregorio GastaldiMy best stay in Japan by far in a whole month through the country. Price was excellent for all the service and quality the hotel has. The staff is extremely helpful and very kind. I’ve never seen such a level of cleanness in absolutely every corner. The spa included is a big plus. The bed was very comfortable and I didn’t expected such good size of the capsule. Having fridge and chance to heat food is very considerate too. The location is simply perfect and the whole place is very silent (even relaxing music played all times). I will definitely come back!

GGuest Userit's renovating an old private house
The bath, washroom, and communal kitchen are modern and simple and fashionable. The security was also solid, and I was able to stay with peace of mind.
There is also Nishi Chaya Street nearby, and I enjoyed the atmosphere in the morning and evening. It is a place I want to stay again

GGuest UserIt was good to be able to calm down and relax at a reasonable price. The bath was also reserved, and I took a large bus calmly by 1 people, and I was tired of work.
I'm also thinking of staying with my family, not work.
